Dark Pit or Pit x Reader

Dark Pit_9 (11-23-2017)

You return to the Brawl Hall after clearing the anti-heroes out of the Mall. When you get back the front room is currently filled up with pretty much everyone from the hero's worlds who hadn't been taken the first time. You see Lucina, Robin, Robert (Robin male), Cali (Corrin female), Corrin, Peach, Zelda, Daisy, and Krystal. You smile and wave you your friends as you pass them on your way to the back room where the halls to the bedrooms are.

The first few room you pass are currently being used for the Heroes who were injured during the abduction. You spot Shadow Link and Dark Link standing in the hallway in front of the doors to rooms one and two. "hey guys... what are you up to in front of link's room?" you question.

Dark Link growls lowly, huffs, and then looks away from you.

Shadow Link frowns at this behavior from his friend. "we're first on guard shift for this hall."

"guard shift?" Dark Pit questions.

"I was talking to Link and we both agreed that Ganon isn't finished yet." Shadow frowns and glances at Dark across the hall. "our friend is in a bad mood because he didn't want to get roped up in the hero business."

"well it isn't our job to protect them." Dark Pit sighs. "to be honest I had my doubts about it too." He walks over to his friend Dark. "but listen to me Dark... if anything were to happen to our counter parts... we would die too."

Shadow link raises an eyebrow. "what are you talking about?"

Dark Pit stares at Dark and Dark stares back at him.

"wait... do you know something I don't know?" Shadow prompts.

"Dark Link shares a double sided coin with Link." Dark Pit replies glancing at Shadow. "Dark Link is like me... he was created by a villain in the image of the hero." He looks at Dark Link again. "am I right?

"how did you find out?" Dark grumbles.

"it first occurred to me when I was talking to (y/n) about Ganondorf." Dark Pit explains. "Ganondorf knows that if he tries to go between realms he isn't supposed to be in that if the heroes failed to stop him we would try to stop him... he doesn't want us to stand in his way. I think he's trying to kill off the heroes and us all at once by targeting the double sided coins."

"what makes you say that?" Dark Link questions.

"think about it... as far as heroes go who did he take first?" Dark Pit replies. "He took Pit, Link, Mario, Sonic, Marth, and Toon Link." Dark Pit frowns while he looks at the wall. "I'm not sure but to me it seemed like he was intentionally targeting the heroes that directly connect to their anti-counter parts or to other heroes."

"Like how Marth and Lucina are connected through an ancestral tree." Dark link mumbles. "or how we are connected to our counter parts."

"exactly." Dark Pit replies.

"do you really think that is possible?" Link says from the doorway of his room. Nobody had seen him open the door or heard him, but he was standing there none the less. "do you really think he's trying to kill us all off?"

"I wouldn't put it past him." Shadow Link sighs. "Dark was created by Ganondorf to be the mirror image of the hero a phantom hero... I was created because you drew the master sword and expelled all your impure stuff." He glances at Link. "now will you please go lay back down before you hurt yourself."

"but I can't rest when I know Gan is up to something!?" Link protests. "he's my enemy and if he hurts anyone that's on me!" he stumbles forward a bit but catches himself before he falls. "I have to get better so I can help... and I won't get better laying around in this stuffy room."
