Dark Pit or Pit x Reader

Dark Pit 8: (11-17-2016)

Because their wings were what was bothering them both pit and dark pit are now the only heroes besides you that are completely better. Pit spends his time running between the rooms of his friends to take care of them and make sure they are resting properly. You decide to go with dark pit to see if the anti-heroes had cleaned up the mess they made in the mall. When you get there the place is mostly back in order but the anti-heroes are all still there.

"what's the meaning of this?" Dark pit questions. "why are you still here?"

"her." Dark link hisses. "with Shadow gone that makes me in charge." Dark link grabs the front of your shirt. "we put it back but we'll only leave if you can defeat us in a fight."

You stare back at Dark link his red glowing eyes make you uneasy. "why fight me?"

"because." Shadow Mario says. "though you made an excellent point to us before we can't figure out why you would side with the heroes."

"The amount of betrayal you've felt in your life should have driven you into becoming just like us." Shadow the hedgehog mumbles crossing is arms.

Dark link pushes you onto the ground and draws his sword. "in short we can't see you as anything if you don't have the power to back up your own words. We refuse to believe your lies, unless you prove your strength to us right now."

Dark pit stands in front of Dark link. "hold up you can't just..."

"silence traitor." Dark link spits at pittoo. "you've never been one of us. Stand down or be treated as a hostile."

The others don't really seem to approve of Dark link's method but they stay quiet and follow his lead. Two of them remove Dark pit and hold him back. "hold still and we won't have to hurt you." Shadow Mario whispers.

Dark link faces you with dark determination in his glowing red eyes. "defend yourself or die. Those are your options."

"(y/n)!" Dark pit protests from the crowd of anti-heroes. "Dark don't do this!"

"there is no choice." Dark link replies. He takes a swing at you but you dodge it.

'he moves the same way link does but his aim is to kill me.' you realize he really has no intention of holding back against you. you draw your bow and hold it in front of you. "alright Dark... if this is what it takes to get through to you."

Dark pit watches from the side lines worrying himself to death. 'why is he doing this? Why does he want to hurt her?'

"it's a test." Shadow Mario says by Dark pits head. "it was planned all along."

"what?" Dark pit looks over his shoulder.

"it's true." Shadow the hedgehog nods. "Dark devised this plan to see if she was a hero or a anti-hero. You see because she won't be able to defeat him unless she is a hero."

Dark pit frowns. "that's crazy... why would he need to prove something like that?"

"for her own good." Anti-Samus grumbles. "we heard about the fight with Ganondorf. How she took up the master sword and retuned everyone's stolen realm rings. Dark decided to test her. after she told us about how she was betrayed in her world... none of us could explain why she wasn't like us."

"in other words..." Dark pit watches the fight again. "he testing her resolve to see if she cracks under pressure, or if she has the hero spirit."

Dark link hits you with the hilt of his sword knocking you on the ground. "your no hero!" he growls. "give into the darkness and become one of us. That is who you were meant to be. Walk in the darkness with us and destroy the light."

You force yourself onto your feet. "not a chance." You growl back. "I'll never join you."

Dark link takes an overhead swing which would have cut you in half but before he strikes you he stops. "you're willing to die for you ideal." He huffs and puts his sword away. "a hero to the bitter end... very well... we shall leave the mall." He glances at the anti-heroes. "come along... we aren't welcome here."

You watch the anti-heroes all file past you out the door without question. After they leave Dark pit walks over to you smiling a bit. "you did it."

"what?" you reply.

"proved your resolve." Dark pit says hugging you tightly. "it was a test... the anti-hero's didn't believe you were a good guy. In order to trust you they had to test you."

"but why?" you wonder.

"because." Dark pit holds your hands in his hands. "anti's only under power. They've been fighting with their others for so long all they understand is power. Today they tested weather or not you had that spark which makes the heroes unbeatable." He puts one hand on your cheek. "and you do... you have that annoying hero resolve that stands you back up. you really are a hero, you just proved it. that just gained you a lot of respect."
