A pencil is merely an object
used for writing in front of the masses,
but the wise shall know
that even the littlest of things
has their own significance and value.
A pencil serves as our guide
in expressing our thoughts, opinions, and emotions.

p.s. the idea for the pencil topic was from my teacher in speech class. we had this impromptu and the topic that i got was about a pencil. i thought of something like that (the poem above) in my head, but of course, i chickened out and all my ideas got jumbled. besides, speaking in front of an audience (whether big or small) will always be my weakness. yup, i'm such a loser. i know.
