It was hard being around her without allowing myself to hold her in my grasp. She had a strong cover, but I knew who she truly was- She was fragile.

And looking at her smiling? That just made my day.  Especially since I knew I was the reason behind it.

All I wanted to do was to hold her, and make her feel loved, and happy. I wanted to breath in her scent again, and feel her heartbeat, and play with her hair, and make her laugh until she's filled with happiness.

Cause she was mine- no, she wasn't my girlfriend. But she was so much better. She was half of me.

I loved being around her. She coukd always bring a smile on me face. I loved teasing her. Her stubbornness made her look so cute.

I loved her with all my heart. She was beautiful, but she failed to realise it.

"Adrian, are you okay?" Jenna asked me as she noticed I was staring at her for a time too long.

"Yeah, of course, Jen." I replied, smiling warmly at her. She grinned at me and looked away.

"Hey Jenna?" I called out to her.

"Yeah?" She asked, keep her eyes on the book in her hand.

"I love you." I said, with pure truthfulness. She looked at me, a bright smile on her face.

"I love you more, Aid."

I smiled and wrapped my arms around her waist. She kept her book aside and snuggled closer to me, her head lying on my shoulder.

"Always?" I asked her. I felt her breath on my neck.

"Always."

She was mine, just like I was hers.
