And all you could wish for is for the pain to disappear, for it to fade away. "
"Are you coming?" Debby asked me. I quickly close my book and keep it in my bag.
"Yeah!" I said enthusiastically.
Debby looks at me before shaking her head. "What do you write in the goddamned book of yours?"
Nothing youd'd like to know. "Oh, you know, my daily schedules and all." I lied effortlessly.
Debby sighs before grabbing my hand and dragging me out of the classroom.
