It had been awhile since Ron and Hermoine got together and everyone was at the burrow for dinner.

Harry's P.O.V

Come on James time to change your nappy. Come on James don't cry I took James out of the sitting room and went into Ginnys old room and rocked little James everyone said he look just like my father which I like. When he stops crying I changed his nappy and then Ginny came in and said she'd breastfeed him. Okay Ginny I need to go do something downstairs I'll be back in a minute, I tell her. " okay Harry I'll be here" she tells me.

I walk downstairs and go over to Arthur and say.
Mr Weasly can I talk to you outside,I ask nervously.
" sure Harry " he replied.
We go outside and I start to talk.
Mr Weasly I love your daughter so much and I don't know what I'd do without here, I pause.
" Harry I wouldn't be telling the truth if I said I was surprised that your asking me what I think your asking" he admitts.
Mr Weasly may I have Ginnys had in marriage, I ask.
He paused " I know you love Ginny and she loves you, you make her happy so you have my blessing" he exclaimed happily. Thank you is it okay if I do it tonight, I ask. " yes that would be great Harry " he says happily.

We go in for dinner and sit down. James is in his armchair laughing at Ron and George. Arthur keeps looking over for when I'm going to do it. I rest my hand on Ginnys thigh and she smiles at me. After dinner I stood up. I need to say something, I say aloud. Everyone turns to look at me and I start to speak. "Everyone must know how much I love you Ginny I don't know what I would do without you , you are my soul mate and I can't picture my life without you I love you with all my heart and nothing can change that" I say.
I take Ginnys hand and get down on one knee. Ginny Molly Weasly will you marry me, I say aloud. There are gasps around the room and I look at Ginny she pauses and smiles at me " YES " she yells aloud. There are a round of applause and congratulations and her brothers come up to me with a dead glare " you better treat her right potter " they say in unison. Then they break out in a fit of laughter. Everyone is looking at Ginnys ring admiring it. " pay up Ron I won the bet " George exclaims. What? I asked confused. " we had placed bets on when you would ask " George explains. " you placed bets on when he would ask" Ginny says angrily. Then she bursts out laughing. " you should have just seen your faces" she tells them. She turns to me and give me a kiss " thank you " she whispered. " no thank you " I whispered back. She picked up James out of his armchair and twirled him around.
Things were all working out!

So rubbish chapter I Know I just thought it was time Harry popped the question so ya
