I woke up shivering. The room I woke up in was dark and damp. I feel like I am in a basement. Cliche right? I tried To move but I soon realized that I was chained to a wall. When my eyes finally adjusted I found that my suspicions were correct. The basement was empty except for a couple of boxes and a table. After further inspection I realized what was on the table. Knives, electric whips like what Ivan has in Iron Man 2, and every other thing you could think of that would be used to torture someone. There was a set of stairs leading up to a door that I'm guessing led to the rest of the house. There was a little bit of light coming from under the door. I heard footsteps nearing the room. When the door opened I saw the dark silhouette of a man. The same man who kidnapped me. My body started shaking. I'm scared of what is going to happen to me. It makes me sad to think that the last week of my life I will have to endure all of this pain and torture. He turned on the light. He had a scary smirk on his face and let out a sinister laugh. He walked over to the table and picked up a long sharp knife.

"I am going to make you suffer Alice. I suppose you know what will happen by the end of the week?" I nodded my head quickly hoping that would be a good enough answer for him.

  "ANSWER ME!" he bellowed.

"Yes," I murmured. He walked up to me and crouched down to my level with his knife in hand. He slowly glided the blade across my cheek as a dark chuckle left his mouth. I clenched my eyes closed tight as I felt the sting on my cheek. As I was busy trying not to concentrate on my cheek he stabbed the knife in my side. I let out a scream and tears were streaming down my cheeks.

"Oh I'm sorry. Did I hurt you?' He asked with fake sympathy. All I did whimper in pain. He laughed an evil laugh and stood up.

"This isn't the worst you will get," with that he turned off the light and left the room. Closing the door behind him. I was in so much pain. Blood was pouring from my wounds and the knife was still in my leg. My eyes slowly closed and my world went black.
