Don't fix what's not broken.

Don't fix what's not broken.

Don't fix what's not broken.

"Then you know what, Troye? Just leave. I'm tired of helping you."

"Wait, Kat, I don't have any place to go!"

"Not my problem, Troye, find a place."

"Kat I don't know anyone! I don't have any money! I don't have a car! Think about what you're doing!"

"I have thought. Did you think about what you were doing when you said you weren't broken, Troye! I was going to help you, but you were an idiot, so no, get out."

"W-what?"

"Troye I'm not repeating myself again! You needed me! You were lucky I stayed with you during your coma. I could've left and you would never of known. But you've changed, just a few years ago you wouldn't say that! So get out!"

He hesitated before tearing up and running out.

The door slammed shut and I was left alone.

That is, until Emma and Trevor walked out, tired and confused.

"Where's Troye?" Emma asked.

"Who's Troye?" Trevor asked, "You have a new housemate?"

"How long have you been asleep?"

"I'm not sure and I really don't care."

"Kat!" Emma yelled bringing my attention back to her, "Where's Troye?!"

"He left..."

"What? He just got here, he didn't find a place already, did he?"

"No, he just...left."

"Didn't you say he could live with us?"

"Yea, but I guess he chose not to. He made one mistake, and left."

"But weren't you guys a couple again? You told me you guys kissed! Did that mean nothing to him?!"

"I guess not."

"Well we should go looking for him!"

"He's not a dog, Emma, and I don't want him back."

"Why not?! You were his girlfriend! You loved him! He loved you!"

"Emma! You don't get it! I don't want him back! He's been nothing but a jerk!"

"That's a lie! You kissed him! People who kiss must love each other!"

We looked over at Trevor who made himself at home in our kitchen and was making himself cereal.

"Trevor," Emma sighed.

"What?! I was hungry and you two won't stop complaining about this boy I don't know." He said eating a spoonful of cereal.

"Trevor, Troye is Kats boyfriend who she dated before the coma."

"Why?"

"Why what?"

"Why did he go into a coma?"

"Car accident."

Trevor is an idiot.

After their talk about who Troye was, my phone rang.

I looked down to see it was the hospital.

My first thought was that Troye went back to hospital and requested staying there for some reason, because that was the only place he knew besides the park.

My second thought, Matt.

"Hello?" I asked shyly waiting for the news I'm about to receive.

"Hello, Kat, we have some bad news. You better get over here."

Without hesitation, I ran out of my building and left for the hospital.

At the hospital, I ran up the stairs frantically panting and my heart was beating too fast.

I reached the hallway Matts room was on and ran.

His room was one of the lasts.

I ran to his room and pushed open the door.

"Matt!" I screamed entering the room.

I knew exactly where his room was, for I was visiting it everyday for weeks.

I didn't make a mistake in what floor it was on or what number it was.

I paid extra attention to that.

The small things.

But what I saw, unbelievable.

The room, Matts room, was empty.
