I Love You

"I love you" I said to him.

"I love you" he said running his hand on my face.

We stayed on the bed just staring at eachother.

"Jared..." I started

"Yeah?" He said hugging me closer.

"If we get married would you like to get married in Hawaii?"

"I guess it would be fun...but Hawaii isn't really my thing" he said as I felt vibration from his chest as he spoke

"Oh...Well, I have a shift at five, I'm sorry. I would rather be with you but I can't miss or else they will fire me" I said sitting up

"Its alright, I have to be home or my parent's will kill me" he said getting up and got dressed.

I saw the time oh shit! I have to go! Its 4:00.

"Alright I have to go..." I said. He walked over and lifted my chin. Me being too short, I had to get on my tip toes to kiss.

"Have a good rest of the day love"

I quickly got out of the house and got to my car.

My name's Winter Blackwood. I'm sixteen. I'm gay obviously...
I have light brown hair that reaches just above my back. My dark brown eyes. I have a golden tan. Which I'm not trying to sound cocky or anything but it's true.

"Order at table four" omerza the cook said bringing up the meal. I smiled at her and brought the order to the table.

"Here you go..." I said placing the plates down.

"Anything else?"

"Uhm can I have a diet coke." The lady smiled.

"And can I have a root bear" the man said.

"Sure thing!"

I went back to get what they ordered.

As I got out of work I got to my car and began my way back home.

"Honey... There's something I have to tell you..." My mom said as I entered the house.

"What is it? Is everything Ok?"

"Winter... Today... Your father..." She couldn't even finish before she started crying. I immediately ran to her to comfort her.

"What is it mom tell me!"

"Y-your father... He had a heart attack" she said as tears streamed down her face.

"But he's alright...right?"
I asked rubbing her tears away

"N-no honey... H-he passed away!"

What??? My father was gone???

"What!?!?" I said as my legs went week and I fell.

"He's gone honey"

"No! No! He can't be gone! He was perfectly fine this morning! He was smiling and healthy! He... He promised me that he'd never leave me!" I cried out with my eyes stinging with tears.

My dad, my father was gone... He was gone forever...

We got home from the funeral. Jared walked my mom to her room and I sat there alone.

Why does this happen? He was a good person, he never once committed anything bad... He was kind and generous, he never thought about himself. Why did he leave?

"Hey... Don't cry... Its gonna be Ok, your dad was a nice guy... That why he's in a better place. He deserved a better place" jared said rubbing my back.

I guess he was right. Maybe my dad didn't deserve to live here. I knew that he does deserve to go to heaven.
