KEVAL'S POV
I hate the things that these people make me do. As I thought about these things, I decided to take a drive to my safe place. It took me three hours to get there but I didn't care. I didn't want to go home yet. My annoying brothers would want to know what happened and I couldn't be bothered. My safe place always made me happy. It made me feel like there was something good waiting for me, so I left.
Present time
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~I heard a twig snap and I became alerted. As soon as I reached here, I knew something was off. When I looked up, there was a girl standing there with pink hair, booty shorts and a black tank top with white sandals.
She was beautiful but she had a cold and emotionless stare directed at me and she looked oddly familiar.
“who are you?", I asked.
“nice to meet you too. Lovely weather isn't it?", she answered cheekily with a sarcastic smile.
“actually the weather is great. The name's Keval. You?"
“Paris. How did you find here?", she asked.
“this is MY safe place!", we added in unison.
We both stared at each other for a minute before we burst out laughing. I couldn't believe that someone else knew about this place.
I didn't realize that I was looking at the girl- I mean Paris until she sobered up and stared at me questionably.
“what? Never seen pink hair before?"
“actually no. I was just thinking that you look very familiar."
“really? I'm in your Math, Calc and biology classes. But who would recognize the nerd of the school?", she said.
Now that she mentioned it, I do know her. She was telling the truth, but how come I didn't notice her before?. Maybe I was blind.
“your not a nerd. And I just recognized you?"
“okay. What do you call a girl who gets straight As, has no friends or boyfriend?"
“okay, maybe your a nerd but whatever.", I said.
“cool. So, we both have this place so how about we keep it as our little secret and share it?", she suggested.
Come to think about it, that was a good idea. She was a nerd so I don't have trust issues with her. She might be hot but she's still a nerd.
“okay. So why are you here?", I asked. That question seems to have thrown her off guard because she stopped smiling and started to sob while she ran in my arms.
