As soon as work was over, I bolted home and locked the door, slowly sliding down it. I can't breathe. I feel like someone is choking me. I don't know what I'm gonna do!!

After a bit of freaking out, I finally got up and began to walk to the couch to take a nap. This should help. It always helps.

<Time Skip>

I opened my eyes and I felt like I've been sleeping forever. I checked the time. It read 6:30am. I sighed and tried to doze off again.

And then it hit me.

WORK STARTS IN FIVE MINUTES!! I guess I'm back to being late again. I ran upstairs and brushed my teeth while washing my face.

I was already wearing my uniform clothes—that I'm definitely washing when I get back home—so I just ran out after I was done.

I grabbed my cap and sprinted to work. As soon as I got there, everyone was talking about the same thing—a party. Now, I'm not really the party type. So whatever party this is, I'm not going.

"Miss (Y/N)," Mr.Chen's voice boomed from in front of me,"are we beginning to be late again?"

I immediately bowed,"Sorry, sir. I'll work extra shifts today..."

"No, no. It's okay. There's a party tonight and everyone's going. I hope I'll see you there!," he says and hurries off.

I stare at him, dazed. Him, too? I can't believe he's really going...but who's hosting--

"You comin' or not."

I lifted my head with a slightly annoyed look. No one's let me step out of the doorway, yet. I pushed Jimin aside and began to walk to the kitchen, but he grabbed my wrist.

"Yah, are you going?,"he urged.

"Why should I,"I mumbled without turning around.

"Do really want to see my dark side?,"he asked me, his grip tightening slightly. I yanked my arm away from him and continued on with my business.

"(Y/N)!! Are you going to the party?,"Erin asked as she stepped in front of me.

"No,"I snapped.

"Oh, cmon!,"she whined, following me to the kitchen,"You're gonna leave your bestie all alone?" After I shook my head, she did the secret weapon. Sad puppy eyes with a pout.

I stared at her for a while but I couldn't hold it in any longer. "Okay, fine!,"I surrendered,"I'll go. But you can't leave my side."

"Deal! I know the place forwards and backwards, inside and out. You can trust this guurll,"she said, slurring the word 'girl'. I laughed and began to work.

I'll be fine as long as I have Erin.
