Unedited, kind of like my life

"Are you alright?" Luchesi asked, once I walked through the door.

After Harry stormed out of the bathroom, all I can remember was crying. I remember walking back to Collin, muttering an excuse to leave and with a brief hug and some odd stares, I was back upstairs with Sophia begging her to leave. She called me a cab and demanded I called her tomorrow but the rest of the ride was a blur. Now as I walked through the house, I try my best to keep my chin high.

"Yeah I'm fine" I murmured, pushing past him towards the stairs.

"Arabella" he said sharply, grabbing my arm.

"Let go" I seethed, yanking my arm out of his grip and walking away.

"Arabella stop!" Luchesi said, coming after me.

I walked as fast as I could in the heels up the stairs and towards Luchesi's room. I know it's pointless to run from him, but right now I just want to be alone, especially after the entire run in I had with Harry. As I entered Luchesi's room, I slammed the door behind me and made sure to lock it tight. I yanked off the shoes that were aching my feet before the pounding shook the room.

"Arabella, open the door!" Luchesi yelled.

Arabella, please open up!

The memory flashed before my eyes making me shake my head

"Luchesi please go away! I can't stand either of you!" I screamed.

"What are you talking about?" he asked.

"Just leave me alone!" I screamed, making the other side of the door go silent.

Did he leave?

I shrug my shoulders and pull the dress over my head, the lingerie underneath giving me a constant reminder of the confidence I was so abundant in earlier this night. I laid the dress out on the bed before sitting next to it. My fingers traced the intricate lace pattern of the garters and the cups of the bra. This lingerie was meant for someone who had a loved one, not for a girl who is trying to pretend she was confident.

As I sat there, I heard shuffling from the other side of the door, signaling he was still there.

"Luchesi, if you don't step away from that door..." I threatened.

"Arabella, what has gotten into you?" he asked, making my anger only rise.

"You're ganging up on me! Let me breath!" I said making him huff from the other side of the door.

"Is this what alcohol does to you?" he asked, making me freeze.

What?

Does he think I'm drunk?

I only had one thing to drink, and Sophia said it herself that it wouldn't get me drunk. I'm not drunk. Not even tipsy. Maybe a little sad, but definitely not drunk. Did she tell them all that I was drinking? Did she tell them about Collin? I slowly stood up from the bed and walked closer to the door, feeling my anger beginning to boil with not only Luchesi but Sophia.

"What are you talking about?" I asked.

"The alcohol. It's clouding your judgement. First you're flirting with guys, now you're firing off at me" he said making me nearly see red.

It's one thing for someone to tell you right from wrong, but this would be the second time tonight that someone has made a mockery of me. And it just so happens that they are brothers. The only reason they are both freaking out about me talking to another guy is because Harry's self-confidence is on the line by me doing so. They both know Harry's a mess, and knowing that I'm getting over him, makes him look pathetic.
