Too good to be true, the mystery of me and you.

Looking in the mirror you see a girl torn, left worn.

You had sworn that you loved her and then you left her alone, your heart had always been a stone.

You always knew that she was fragile like glass, but you let everything you once had pass.

So now she stands in front of a reflective piece of glass wondering what she had done wrong, singing the same old sad song.

You're sound asleep in bed right now while there are unheard tears being shed.

Don't say you love her if that feeling doesn't burn through your soul like ignited coal.

Because then she'll regret opening up to you, finally learning you were always too good to be true.
