"Lindsay, get your heels on, the limo is going to be here in five minutes!" I yelled as I checked myself in the mirror. Tonight is prom, and everything has to be perfect. I just can't believe that we will be graduating tomorrow. Just then, my doorbell rang, and Lindsay was finally ready.

"Damn chill, I'm pregnant, I don't move as fast as you," she said laughing. Then, I opened the door, to see Dylan and Aidan.

"Well don't you look handsome," I said while giving Dylan a kiss on his cheek.

"You don't look too bad yourself shortcake," he said winking.

"You look so beautiful," Aidan says kissing Lindsay's hand.

"Hey Michael," I said surprised, seeing him with a date.

"Hi, I'm Stephanie," his date said as she extended her hand.

"Hi, I'm Riley."

"You know me," Lindsay say giving Stephanie a hug.

"Well let's go," Dylan said.

"Tickets?" Mrs. Dayle, our AP History teacher asked. Dylan handed her our tickets, and we walked inside. It was absolutely stunning, there were strands of white orchids hanging from the ceiling, with chandeliers hanging everywhere, and the tables decorated with magnolias. We danced for about three hours, and then the moment everyone was waiting for came.

"Now everyone, please be quiet," our principal asked. "So, this years elections for prom queen and king were extremely close, so I want to congratulate all of our runner ups. So, our runner up prom king is Chad Applegate, and our prom king is, wow...ok, so the 2016 prom king is Mr. Dylan Anderson." I couldn't believe what I was hearing, Dylan was prom king? I couldn't help but laugh a bit, he just doesn't seem like the type, but I was still really happy for him. I looked at him and he was shocked, but he went up to the stage and accepted his crown.

"Now, your 2016 prom queen is...oh, the voting was very close, only by one vote, so before I announce the winner I would like to congratulate our runner up, Phoebe Hamilton." The whole room got completely silent, and Phoebe looked pissed.

"And our prom queen is...Riley Davidson." What the fuck?!?! I'm prom queen... this can't be real. I step up onto the stage, and they place the tiara on my head. As they are placing it on my head, Phoebe storms out of the room, and I can't help but laugh a little bit.

"Now, let's finish the night off with a slow dance for our king and queen." We walk down to the dance floor, and all eyes are in us.

"I don't want this night to ever end," I said resting my head on his chest.

"I love you so much," Dylan said kissing my forehead.

"I love you too."

"BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP!!!"

Ugh, I'm so tired, Dylan and I didn't get back to his place till three am this morning...but at least it's graduation day and we'll finally get out of this hellhole.

"Common shortcake, I know you may be sore, but it's graduation day," Dylan said smirking as he got up to get ready. I couldn't help but blush a little bit.

"Did you by chance make me any breakfast because you love me?" I asked giving a fake grin on my face.

"Haha no," he said laughing.

"What a great boyfriend you are..." I said sarcastically.

"In bed," he said winking. I really am hungry though, I want some cereal. I get up, get dressed and put on the heart pendant that Dylan gave me, and go to the kitchen to find some cereal.

"BABE WHERE THE HELL IS YOUR CEREAL!!!" I yelled in frustration. Dylan came into the kitchen, and grabbed a box of fruit loops.

"Thanks babe," I said giving trying to give him a kiss on the cheek, but he turned his face, so our lips crashed. I pulled away super fast, and he looked confused.

"What's wrong?" He asked with a frown.

"Look I love you, but I love food more," I said laughing.

"Thanks," he said sarcastically walking back into his room. After I finished eating my cereal, I got ready, and Dylan and I headed to graduation.

"This has been one amazing group of students this year," our principal said. "I would like to begin to call up all our students. So to begin with, Dylan Anderson," she said as Dylan walked up and excepted his diploma. I was so proud of him that he was able to finish the four months of work he missed.

"Riley Davidson," our principal said. I stood up, and made my was to the stage, and she handed me my diploma, and it felt so good. I walked down from the stage, and Dylan was waiting for me.

"Great job shortcake," he said picking me up and spinning me around.

"Congratulations Dylan, you graduated high school," I said proudly, and he gave me a big smile.

"Now, Phoebe Hamilton."

"I would like to say something to my fellow classmates," Phoebe said, and we were all a bit confused. "So at the beginning of this year, I was the queen bee. I was with Dylan Anderson, most likely to become prom queen, but a little nerd had to take everything away from me. And this little nerd goes by the name of Riley Davidson...and you what you may not know, is that me and Ryl's used to be best friends, but I realized very quick that I was meant to be more than some nerd, so I ditched her. But somehow, she still managed to ruin my life...she took my guy, my crown, so now I'm going to take something from her..." She said with an evil grin on her face. Just then, Phoebe pulled a gun out of her robe, and everyone shrieked.

"Phoebe, please don't do this..." I asked calmly.

"Well, at first I thought it would be fun to kill you, but then I knew what would hurt you most...so you should say your goodbyes to Dylan," she said pointing the gun at Dylan.

"Phoebe, what the hell do you think you're doing?!?!" Aidan yelled.

"Something I've been wanting to do for a long time..." She said about to pull the trigger. Right before she pulled it, I jumped in front of Dylan.

"It's my turn to save you now!" I yelled and I felt the bullet hit, and everything went black...
