lunar new year

actual rant abt lny yay

so every year lny is considered chinese new year when in fact,  all/most of west asia celebrates the first full moon of the new year. im vietnamese and i get so riled up about how im now considered chinese and how most  people consider asians as chinese.

now, they dont think all asians but only the stereotypical ones with smaller eyes and dark hair+eyes. but it goes for the same for the central-asia area where there, everybody is called indian (but even i do that but i say area around india)

call it lunar new year. please. i hate how china has become an Asian stereotype and i will obliterate anybody who calls me chinese

because im viet and proud.
