You did something a lot worse did you?" And walked away from the stand ' thank goodness she was taking forever' I thought to my self. So we continued walking and I told her telepathically " yeah something way worse" I told Ray. She raised a eyebrow and had a questioning face expression " you know Kat if you don't want to tell me that's fine I don't want to invade your privacy." I hugged her and smiled she did the same as well " I will tell you in a bit when I know we are clear" and we walked into a small restaurant and a waitress who was a unicorn ( yes a unicorn) took us to our table. She looked at us " hello my name is Mary and I will be your waitress for today. What can I get you too drink?" First she looked at Raven not sure what to do " I will like the nectar flower " Raven replied smiling and Mary wrote it down on her pad with her horn. By the look on Mary's face she's still not sure about Raven I guess that's what you get for being a fairy. She looked at me with a smile " and what would you like?" I looked at the menu " uhh..... I would like the .... Water just water" I look at her " ok I will be back with your drinks" once she left I asked Raven telepathically " hey Ray do we have any cash left?" I was worried about going back to jail with the leprechauns and let me tell you they aren't friendly. " let me see" she replays I watch Raven as she looks through her bag and finds her wallet " about $40 bucks " she replays to me telepathically. " ok that's good" to Raven but not in my head I look around to see if our waitress is coming towards our table. I don't see Mary but a few stares ( ok a lot of stares) from other mythical creatures at first I though they were starting at me but then I realized they were starting at Raven 'of course they would' I told myself then I hear " Kat ignore them it doesn't bother me" I look at Raven who is looking at her menu " ok fine I just hate it how they judge you. You aren't like the other fairy's" and I look at my menu and soon enough Mary comes back with our drinks. " here's your nectar flower" she hands it to Raven careful not to touch rays hand " thank you " Raven told the waitress and Mary turns to me " and here's your water" and hands it to me " thank you " . Once Mary gave me the drink " do you want to order?" Mary asks us. I look at Raven and she knows that we can't stay long " no we just wanted drinks." Raven tells the waitress who looks like she wanted to stomp on Raven. " o.h.... Ok um here's the bill " she hands me the bill ' wow it's not much' I told myself and Raven " obviously Kat we only got drinks" Raven tells me telepathically. I pay the bill and gave it to Mary " thank you very much have a nice day and come again!" She tells us but i am pretty sure she was talking to me. Once We get out of the restaurant " Kat what happened? Did you feel unsafe there? Like someone was watching you?" She asks me with a worried look on her face " yeah but not a dark feeling though I just didn't feel safe" I tell Raven I look behind her and see a figure looking at us. I couldn't tell who it was but I don't like it. " come on Ray someone is watching us!" I yell at her and both Ray and I run but what ever the figure was it was catching up with us. " HIDE HERE!" Raven yells at me and we both hid behind some giant trash cans in a corner. My heart is beating really fast ' what is it I don't like it'. Then we hear WHACK! ' what's happening?' I asked myself then something or someone moved the giant trash cans. I don't dare look up and I hear " hey uh it's ok he won't hurt you" I still don't look up and someone shakes me gently I look to Raven reading her face expression. " it's ok Kat he won't hurt us" he? I stand up Raven does as well and I see a boy but I look down and see a horse body. I look behind this boy and see the man that was chasing us on the ground " hey my name is Max. What is your name beautiful's ?" He asks " mine is Raven and my best friends name is Kat." I look at her saying ' are you insane we don't know him he could kill us.' Ray whispers to me " it's ok he's like you Kat" I look at him still not sure to trust him or not. " what? ... Her name is Kat? Like a cat? That's awesome!" What the he's weird. I finally have the courage to speak " what are you?" Sounding fierce. He looked at me " I am a centaur half Phoenix. What about you? I know you are like me I can sense it" i don't know if I can trust him but for some reason I do " I am a mermaid and I don't know what the half of me is" he takes a step toward me and smiles at me and Raven " well looks like we have a adventure come with me I know a safe place." I am still not so sure and I feel a hand grab my arm I look to my right its Raven. ' Kat it's ok we need a safe place to hide and if you don't feel safe around him I can protect you' she's telling me telepathically I answer ' thanks' I smile at her. I look at Max who looks confused " oh yeah Raven is a fairy that explains why you guys are just starting at each other. Come on this way" we follow Max to wherever this safe place is.
