Chapter 4
Enjoy the carnival like a good girl
♥♥♥ Third person♥♥♥
‘I feel like a loser
I feel like I've lost
I feel like I'm not so sure if I feel anything at all
But believe me, I'm not helpless I just
Need someone to love
So my situation's rough
But that just makes me a dumb human
Like yo-‘
Groaning Amelia Fell picked up her phone from the metal nightstand and answerd it not bothering to look at the caller I.D. “Yello?” she said sleepily, attempting to keep her eyes open.
“Amy, hi, are you ok?” the voice said on the other line.
“Hey Elena, why are you calling soooo early?” she asked the other teenage girl whilst yawning into the phone.
“It’s not early it’s about eight. And I’m calling because you’re parents phoned me saying you hadn’t come home last night. What happened?” Elena asked her sounding slightly worried.
“It’s flattering that you were worried enough to call me but it’s along story which I might tell you later. Anyway, I’m fine and am at Aiden’s house,” Amelia answerd.
“Aiden’s back? Since when?” Elena asked excitedly, she has always liked Aiden..as a friend that is.
“Since yesterday apparently. I had no idea before you start getting down on me about how I didn’t tell you,” Amelia replied.
“Wasn’t gonna say a word,” Elena said innocently. “Want me to give you a lift to school?” she asked afterwards.
“Yes please,” Amelia said back.
“Alrighty, see ya in twenty, bye!” Elena shouted through the phone causing Amelia to flinch before putting her phone back on the table.
“Hey time to wake up sleeping beu-” Aiden Fell shouted through the door before being interrupted by Amelia.
“Already awake Aiden, I have Elena to thank for that,” she said as he walked through the door.
“Elena? You two still friends?” he asked her.
“Dur!!!!!!!"! Best friends, she’s picking me up soon, so if you’ll get out and let me change,” she smiled sweetly at him. Laughing Aiden closed the door to give her privacy.
Amelia quickly skipped to the wardrobe and picked out her outfit for the day and brushed through her wavy blonde hair.
“ELENA’S HERE!” Aiden shouted up the stairs.
“Commin'," Amy shouted down whilst running down the stairs.
“Oh my God, I can’t believe I missed that!” Aiden said, probably attempting to make small talk. “And cue the little sister,” he said smiling at his sister as he opened the door open. “Have a good day sis,” he said kissing the top of Amy’s blonde head before she walked out the door.
“Bye Aid!” she waved whilst getting into Elena’s car.
*Amelia’s P.O.V*
“Amy, are you ok?” Elena asked me, looking at me whilst still trying to keep her eyes on the road ahead.
“Elena, you’re my best friend right?” I asked her.
“Yeah, ofcourse I am,” she smiled reassuringly.
