I got up, wiping some lingering tears off my face. Sapphire's death would be for a good cause. I had to find Cataleta.
"Cataleta!" I called, I got an answer right away.
"Ike! Get in here but don't take the chute. I need help with Sapphie!" Hearing her name got my attention right away.
"Sapphie's alive?!" I asked. I was so happy! She was ok!
"She is, but barely. We need to get out of here." I started looking around the room for a different way down. Then I found it. A door with a sign that read "Janitor Only." Perfect! I opened the door and started sprinting down a flight of stairs. I reached the bottom of the stairs and ran though the hall.
"What cell are you in?" I asked.
"221b" I sprinted to the cell and opened the door. I set off a loud alarm, but it didn't bother me. I started to sprint to the other end of the room but stopped dead in my tracks. On the ground was a seemingly lifeless body. Sapphire.
