Mei

My name is Mei.......
Yeah...just simply Mei.
I have the power to transfer into anybody's mind who is in the most amount of danger and see people's memories, and how they feel. That is what my left green eyes is for. And I also have the power to absorb life energy and turn it into my own, increasing my life span with just the amout of life around me. Which comes from everything.
Animals.
Trees.
Insects.
Humans
....anything or anyone....without affecting their life span,of course. That's what my right red eye is for.

I've traveled to many places and seen many things around the world growing up. Everywhere I went it was always magnificent.
The people...
The atmosphere....
The life....
It all felt so nice. Not saying I can't stay in one place, but life is about adventure sometimes...But lately, I've been yearning for something I've never experienced before....peace.
All this time I've been on thrill rides but I never stopped and slowed down a little.
Today I traveled to this island called Lukedonia, an isolated island. When I arrived, it seemed perfect. But as I am, instead of walking the paths, I hopped through the trees.
I keep having the sudden urge to move.
So I slowed down and stopped. I sat on a tree branch.

I breathed in............
Then I breathed out........

I closed my eyes and meditated. For once in my life, everything seemed calm....all I could hear was wind. No danger. No violence.

...this is bliss.

I opened my eyes and slowly stood up.
I'll Try to take things slow.
Suddenly, I missteped on the branch and slapped down.

Mei: woah!

I couldn't catch my footing so I couldn't reposition myself to fall on my feet. Just when I though I'd hit ground head first....

I slowly opened my eyes.
I didn't hit ground.
I felt no pain.
I looked up, and covered over my eyes to shield me from the the bright light the Sun had blinded me. Then I noticed someone.
A man?
He had an apathetic expression looking down at me.
Then I finally noticed, he had caught me.

Mei: Ah! I'm so sorry.

I immediately jumped out of his arms and bowed my head.

Mei: my apologies.......a-and thank you...for catching me.

I stood back up straight and dust myself off. I looked back up at the man. He was quite hansome yes, but the thing that caught my eye was what he was wearing.

Mei: ...Are you a noble?...

I circled around him and examined his clothes.

Mei:...your dressed like one....

I stood back in front of him. He still had an apathetic expression.
I smiled.

Mei: well...even if you are or aren't. My names is Mei. Its nice to meet you...
Rai: Cadis Etrama Di Raizel.
Mei: oh.

I giggled lightly.

Mei: I've traveled to many places, and I have never heard a name like that before.
Rai: ....
Mei: I'm new to this island so I don't know my place around.

I looked up into the clear, blue sky. And a breeze of wind brushed by.

Mei: but it seems very peaceful...

Then...

Man 1: THERE'S SOMEONE OVER THERE! Get on your guard everyone!
Mei: ...?
