Yuni: what? You want me to leave the village too?
Kate: that's right.

We all were standing outside the gates of the village.

Yuni: but Lord kurmark is coming today.
Kate: it's not just you, I have a funny feeling about this too. The bodyguards who went with her yesterday haven't returned. Neither did the priests.

I stiffened slightly.

Yuni: What? But...Why?
Kate: lansia said that they stayed behind to guide Lord Kurmark here, but something's not right.
Yuni: hm...

Kate have Yuni a reassuring smile.

Kate: if everything's alright, I'll come looking for you soon. Then you can come back. And you'd probably feel better if you lead the outsiders to the Eastern city.

Yuni looked up at us.

Kate: thanks for listening to me. Alright.

Kate handed Yuni a bag.

Kate: here you'll need some food.

Kate then looked up at me and Raizel.

Kate: look. I know you may not understand what I'm saying...but take care of Yuni.

Suddenly there were loud Booming sounds coming in.

Kate: there's no time. You'd better go.

We all took off along the path. I could still feel myself trembling. I couldn't get over the feeling, something bad is definitely going to happen. I looked up a Raizel, who was staring down at me.
Is Raizel even aware that any of this is happening?
He's clearly not human?

I Suddenly felt a sharp pain in my head, I immediately closed my eyes.
When I opened them, I was back in the village, but I felt weak. I lost all my strength
Why can't I move?
What's going on?
Who am I now?

Kurmark: it looks like everyone's ready.

I looked up and it was that same man with purple hair. Kurmark.

I must be...Kate...?
All the villagers are caught just like Kate.
What's going on? What's happening?

Kurmark: good. Good. Thes are a lot more than I thought. You've both done excellent work, lansia and Karr. As I promised, you will recieve eternal life.
Karr: thank you.
Kurmark: now, it's time for me to suck the blood of my followers.

Suck blood? Is
that what these strands wrapped around all the villagers are for? He's sucking their blood!? I could feel some of Kate's blood draining slowly.

Man: h-help us! lansia!
Lansia: help you? I have no idea what you mean? This us what the great lot Kurmark wants. Shouldn't you be happy if the lives of pathetic villagers like yourselves can be of some use to lord Kurmark?
Woman: YOU TRICKED US!
Man: lansia! Answer us!
Another man: have you and Karr been deceiving us this whole time?
Lansia: what do you mean? I've never deceived you. Did I ever say that something like this would never happen? I simply didn't tell you.I that you have to offer your lives to lord Kurmark. Or that your lives must be sacrificed in order for my father and I to gain eternal life...
Man: SHE'S A WITCH!! She's no holy priestess. She's just a vicious witch!

Suddenly the man was engulfed in purple flames, the life draining from him before everyone's eyes.

Mei: no!
Lansia: thank you, lord Kurmark, for stepping in on behalf of a unworthy servant like me...
Kurmark: not at all. I just couldn't stand his blabbering...besides, everyone's going to end up like that anyway. I just absorbed his blood a bit early.

Somehow Kate was able to grab his sword and slash away the strands that had binded him. He was now free.

Kate: LANSIA! KARR! You intend on sacrificing the lives of everyone to that beast...just to satisfy your own greed?
Kurmark: wow...a human who can repel my power! I could make use of him...
Karr: how is he able to move?
Kate: you're all monsters! As long as I'm here, I won't let this happen!

Kate then bagan charging at Kurmark with a sword in hand.

Mei: no, stop!
Kate: die you beast!

Kate couldn't even come close to him. Kurmark used mind control and stopped Kate. He fell face first onto the ground.
I was shot back into my body forcefully.

Yuni: ..M-Miss...is everything okay...?
Mei: ...

I rubbed my green eye.
This is bad. Those villagers....Kate....they....

I was hit again with another sharp pain in my head.
I was transferred back into Kate.
It appears as Kate has been beaten. Standing over him was lansia.

Lansia: Kate. You're certainly not like others. I'm impressed that you were able to move..since it would be a shame to waste those abilities of yours, I'll give you a chance. Be my man, then I'll ask Lord Kurmark to spare your life.
Kate:.....be...your man?.....never. I would rather die right here than do something so despicable.

That set lansia off. She grabbed the cane from Karr's grasp and stabbed Kate through his stomach with the sharp end.
And again I was shot back into my body.
I let out a loud gasp as I cluched my stomach and trembled violently. I stopped turn my head to look back at the village. I could see light igniting from over it's walls.

Yuni: ...Why did you suddenly stop? We don't have time for this, we have to hurry. Are you listen....

Yuni could see the light from the village as well. We all could clearly see it.

Yuni: the village. Why is there a light coming from it?

Yuni have Raizel the bag of food and headed back to the villages direction.

Yuni: you two keep following this road. If you keep going along here, you'll find a city with Lord of people. Okay? Just keep following the path. Ah! And watch out along the way. Sorry for leaving!

I shot my head around to look at Raizel.

Mei: Raizel. Its bad. Very very bad. They won't survive.
