"Walk quietly." Han hissed. Ai was blinded by tears.
"Why are you doing this?" She asked gritting her teeth.
"Do you want to hear a story?" Ai prayed that someone would come help her. "Delun was once betrothed to the most beautiful women in the small village by the sea. Delun loved this women very much. But Ting didn't love him." She swallowed hard. "Do you know this tale?" She shook her head. He was breathing heavy on her neck. "Hmm. Well then. When Delun found out that Ting didn't love him, he became angry. He killed a her."
"I don't believe you." He twisted the dagger, she whimpered.
"You should." Han let his hand wonder up the front of his shirt.
"Stop." She pushed at him. "Delun..."
"He can't hear you." Ai knew that but she hoped that he could. They were by the palace walls. The world was starting to turn black.
"He will come for me." Ai lifted her chin, she was scared.
"Will he now?"
"Of course. Delun loves me." Ai closed her eyes. His hand wondered closer to where they were not welcomed.
"He loved Ting, but look where she is at." Han gave a low chuckle. "Your a women, you are replaceable."
"I am still a human." She was terrified. She didn't like his touch, it wasn't gentle, it burned in her mind. She pushed him, coming up with strength she thought she didn't have. She pushed him, he tumbled on the ground. She ran one hand holding up the blue skirt of her hanfu in one hand. And the dagger in the other. She was small and faster, but she was injured so it slowed her down.
"Lady Ai." A guard caught her.
"Help me. I want my husband." He noticed the dagger in herside. She looked behind her, she saw Han snickering at her. "Please take me to him." A tear fell down her cheek. The gaurd a young one lifted her up, bridal style. She cried out when his hand brushed the dagger. It wasn't his fault. She looked at Han who walked slower, getting closer to the door of the palace.
"It is alright your highness. You'll be alright." She closed her eyes, resting her head on the shoulder of the young gaurd. She thought of the story Han told her, she could still feel his hands on her. She wanted it to go away.
She felt sad, her friend ended up wanting to kill her. She wanted the memory to go away. She fainted from the blood loss. She prayed that Delun wouldn't be mad at her.
"Emperor!" The gaurd bursted in through the door. A fainted Ai was in his arms, covered im blood.
"What have you done?" Delun hissed at him.
"I didn't do anything." Delun saw the dagger. One he had seen many times, Han's choice of weapon. "Han." Delun growled. He took Ai from the gaurd. The dagger falling to the ground. Ai cried out in pain. "Being me something to clean her wound." Delun ordered them. Chao looked horrified but left.
"Delun," Ai mummbled and opened her eyes.
"You'll be alright." Delun was scared. He was afriad to lose her, his hand shooked as he put pressure on the opening. He sat beside her on the floor. Ai sat up and layed her head on his shoulder. "Ai, was it Han?" She nodded. He knew it. "Damn him."
"He touched me, Delun." Ai cried into his neck.
"Damn him." He kissed her forehead. "Your alright now." Delun bet Han killed Hong. He lifted her with one hand, grabbing his Han Jian that sat on the table, ready for him. Lucky for him he wore battle attire he sat in the chair, Ai and his Han Jian in his lap.
"Delun, what are you going to do?" Ai looked at his face. She was in pain, Delun was staring at the door with a look of stone. She followed his gaze. She closed her eyes, she didn't want to see him.
"Keep your eyes closed, my love." Delun voice was only loud enough for her to hear. It had no emotion to it, there was a low chuckle and Ai's heart began to beat quickly.
