Home At Last

"Okay look at this one. It's pretty big and has 4 rooms, 2 full bath, basement, main floor, living room, dining room, extra room that can be my work room for Youtube and you too Jonathan, a kitchen, and a washed and dryer. It's modern too and pretty good price." I said pointing to my computer.

"Yeah looks good." Jonathan said looking at the computer screen next to me.

I don't know why but I felt kinda weird next to him. Like being that close to him, it's odd I've never acted like this around him before but then again I've barely ever seen him. Still this feeling is weird and I don't know if I like it or not.

"Yo Earth to Evan you there? I said let's make an appointment to go check it out." Jonathan said bringing me out of my thoughts.

I blinked a couple times and then looked up at him who had a goofy smile plastered on his face.

"You good man?" he asked giggling.

"Yeah lost in thought. Anywho I'll make an appointment after we go see if they even want to be adopted by us." I said standing up.

"Okay. You wanna go now?" He asked.

"Yeah. Tyler you comin?" I asked Tyler.

He got off the phone with Kelly a few minutes ago and she agreed to the whole thing actually. She said she was getting tired of Tenessee and wanted to see how living out in Minnesota was like.

"Yeah hold on. I think I found the right house for us to. Okay let's go." He said getting up and walking towards the door with his keys on his hand.

"You guys gonna come or stay here?" I said to the guys.

"We'll stay

Chelsey POV

The whole car ride was silent, I was still processing what Evan had told us. "Enough to know that we're doing the right thing. By taking you out of this horrible place." I'm so happy that he took us out really I am but I just don't know how to feel.

~magical time skip to home~

We got home and I was greeted by the gang. It's so wired I feel like I knew them my whole life yet it's only been 2 days. So Evan is my dad while Tyler is Audrey's dad. This is great I'm just I don't even know. Audrey was fangirling like crazy while I kept smiling like an idiot.

Evan POV

Chelsey has been unusually quiet ever since we got in the car. Then again I only knew the girl for like 2 days so I don't really know her personality. I'm going to get to know her more. "Hey Chelsey, Audrey come on in the living room." I say with the guys coming over as well. "We want to get to know you guys better since your our kids. So tell us about yourselfs." Their faces dropped.

Chelsey POV

They wanted to know more about us. Ok since they are our parents now I guess we should tell them.
"My parents died while they were on a trip. They got a disease and died in the hospital." I was on the verge of tears I miss them so much I still remember what they look like and every time I see them I cry.

"My parents were abusive. They would even burn me." Audrey says as she pulls up her sleeve to reveal a scar. They gasped at it. I didn't even realize that I was crying and so was Audrey. "When I came to the orphanage I thought it was going to be great until the adviser started to beat us if we didn't do the chores or if we came back late."

I say trying not to stutter. "Before Audrey came I was done I had nothing nobody loved me I had no friends because they were either to old or to young. I saw a razor blade on my bed and I was about to cut myself until she came into my room and stopped me before I had the chance."

Evan came over to me and Tyler came to Audrey and they hugged us. "We didn't realize that you guys had gone through so much we are so sorry. If we knew about you guys sooner then we would've done this earlier."says Evan.

"It's not your fault. You guys didn't know about us, don't blame yourself."I say. "Do the other children get beatings?" Asks Craig. "No. I don't know why they never got beatings. We don't know what the adviser had against us. We just don't know."I say. Audrey and I stop crying and we got our composure back. "But anyways off the sad topic, I like video games and watching YouTube obviously."I say trying to get off the topic. "I like playing video games, watching YouTube videos and reading."

"That's cool." Says Brock.

"Hey dad do you think Audrey and I can take a walk to the park?"I ask.

"Sure do whatever you want."

"Thanks dad." I gave him a quick hug and Audrey did the same with Tyler and we left.
