Evan's Pov

I was sitting in the living room thinking about yesterday. John is still in his room blasting music. I thought he was happy now. Wasn't he? Well I just let him vent to me so maybe that wasn't enough. I still feel like he's not telling me something though.

But after telling a story like that, I guess there would be something left out. I don't know. Maybe I should talk to him again. Everyone's out doing something. Well, I know Tyler and Audrey are out getting some food. I still don't know about the rest.

I walked up the stairs and heard TØP blasting through the hall way. Not Today is a good song.

I knocked a bit hard on the door, no response. I knocked a bit harder.

"Go away Evan." I heard him say. His voice sounded different. I tried opening the door but it was locked.

"John!" I yelled through the door.

"I said go away!" He yelled. His voice sounded hoarse.

"No I'm not leaving! Let me in!" I yelled.

"No you leave now! I don't want to talk to you!" He yelled but more serious.

I jumped back from the door because...John yelled. He never yells and when he does it's always jokingly. Never so serious. It kind of scared me. It was like he was actually mad at me. But he's not actually mad at me right?

I heard his music go down and heard him come to the door. But he never opened it.

"I'm sorry Evan.... I just can't talk to you today. I'm sorry for snapping at you, I'm not mad at you. I just need you to go away right now. That's all." He said hoarsely.

"Why can't you talk to me? I told you that you could always talk to me for whatever reason. Why can't you now?"

"Because this is a different reason that I can't tell you right now."

"Why can't you tell me? How's this reason different?"

"Just- Evan I'm sorry. Just don't talk to me today. I'm not mad at you, I just can't talk to you." He finished and I heard him walk away from the door and turn his music volume up.

I sighed and walked back downstairs. The door opened and Tyler and Audrey walked into the living room with Mc. Donald's.

"Hey Ev. We got the stuff." Tyler smirked.

"Awesome." I replied mustering up a smile.

"Hey, is John ok?" Audrey asked.

"Um I'm not sure. He won't come out of his room and he told me to go away and not talk to him today." I said.

"Hmm. Let me talk to him." Tyler said and put down the food and started walking up the stairs.

"I don't know if you can." I said.

"Just let me try." He said getting to the top of the stairs and walking down the hallway.

Tyler's Pov

I got to Del's door and knocked hard on it.

"Evan I said go away!" Del yelled through the door.

"Del it's me Tyler, open up." I said.

His music volume went down and he opened the door.

"What do you want Tyler?" He asked.

"To talk."
