Luca warmed up for his second ever fight. He wasn't just doing this for his entertainment anymore. He was doing it to secure his wife, himself and possibly his own children luxurious life for the future.

Miriam came into the training room again. Walking hassle free in the same company of men as she had walked through the first time. Luca introduced her his wife and that was enough to keep them away from her forever.

Yet Luca still dragged her out of the room, staring straight ahead, when a man shot Miriam's chest a furtive glance while licking his lips.

"What is it?" Luca asked Miriam when he saw her frown.

"Why'd you bring me out here?" She asked. It was scorching hot and the shelter above their heads didn't provide enough shade.

"The man was-" Luca started to say.

"I know exactly what the man was doing-"

"Exactly! And you don't mind him doing that?" Asked Luca annoyed.

"He was looking at this!" Miriam said holing up a chocolate filled Canelloni.

Luca looked confused for a moment but his face broke out into an awkward smile. "Riigghtt!"

Miriam shook her head. Luca reached out to the canelloni, but Miriam slapped his hand away. "That's for Mia. And Mia wanted to wish you a very good luck," She said. Six year old Mia had woken up after Luca went so she couldn't do that.

Miriam reached up to his cheek and kissed him. "From Mia," she said, noticing how she felt more comfortable doing that than the first time. She turned around and started walking back inside.

"Wait." Luca called out. Miriam turned around, confused. Luca stepped closer to her. "Mum gave me a kiss, Dad gave me a hug, Mia gave me a kiss...and what about you?" He asked, now very close to Mia.

Mia pretended to think, she realised what he may be thinking. "A hug! Because having even numbers of something is easier that having odd numbers. So a hug it is!" She said raising both her hands.

Luca growled and lifted Miriam from around her waist and twirled her around. Miriam laughed, not finding this remotely scary, but she still surrendered. "Alright, alright, I'll give you the canelloni!"
Luca growled again. Miriam laughed and without another seconds thought, she bent down to kiss him.
Sparks flew, literally and metaphorically. Literally because of the swords Miriam kicked down, which were lined together, when she bent her knees to reduce the wobbilyness.

"Love you!" Luca whispered, out of breath from the kiss, while Miriam just collapsed on his shoulder smiling giddily.

Miriam decided now was a good time and place to break the news to him. "From our little one," she said after kissing his other cheek.
Luca's eyes widened, a beat later he reached up to kiss her again, not caring that his name was being called in the arena.
