Chapter Six: What's wrong with him?

It's been two months and today is Oden and my appointments.

I woke up to Sterling kissing me, I smiled before kissing him back.
"I should get ready"
"Mm 5 minutes" he kissed me again. We heard Blake's cry through the baby monitor.
"That's a no" I got up and went into the nursery.
"Hi Blakeyboo, are we going to the hospital and park today? I think we are" I picked him up and walked over to the rocking chair and fed him. Sterling walked in and I gave Blake to him so he could change Blake while I fed the other two.

Once I fed Felic I went and got dressed myself. I went back to the nursery and grabbed Oden in his car seat while Sterling had Felic and Blakey in their seats. We went out to the bus and packed everyone and everything. We headed to the hospital.
"Oden Carter-James for a hearing revisit" I told the lady at the front desk.
"Yes right this way." She took us to the auditory room.
"Oden Carter-James" The audiologist asked
"Yes" Sterling walked in with the pram.
"I'm Dr Kale. Which one is Oden?" The audiologist seemed surprised to see the triplets. I picked up Oden.

"here he is" I gave

"We will be back in half an hour." She walked into the testing room.

"I will go, are you right to look after these two?" I asked Sterling. He looked down at the sleeping babies.

"I've had a bit of practice" he looked nervous

"If they wake up just give Blake his bunny." I reassured. I walked up to Dr. Nelson's Office.

"Hi Isabelle" She greeted.

"Hi" I greeted her.

"Are you ready?"

"to find out if I no longer need to have medicine, certainly" I smiled at her

"when was the last time you had a seizure?"

"this time last time" I told her nodding at myself.

"sounds good let's do the test" she put the pads around my head.

"well it looks like I'll be seeing you once a year instead of 6 months" She smiled at me.

"yay" I bounced up and down while I hugged her. We walked into the waiting room and I saw Isaac.

"hi" I smiled at him.

"hi do I know you?" he shyly smiled at me.

"IsZac your kidding right?" I asked nervously.

"Owen who is that?" he asked our brother who was with him.

"Your twin sister Belle you call her Isby" he informed the confused Issac.

"I have a sister?" Isaac didn't believe it.

"No you have 8" Owen said.

"Woah" Isaac was in fairyland

"Isaac Carter" Dr Nelson called.

"Is that my name?" Isaac asked Owen.

"Yes go to her. We'll talk later" Owen told me as he guided Isaac to Dr Nelson. I just stood there shocked; what the hell happened to my brother? A nurse came over.

"come with me please" she guided me back to Sterling. He ran up to me.

"What happened?" he asked concerned.

"he doesn't remember me" tears fell down my face.

"Who?"

"Isaac" I whispered, Sterling wrapped his arms around me. I took a deep breath and wiped the tears away from my face.

"Oden Carter-James?"

"Yes" I walked over to Dr Kale.

"Can I talk to you in my Office?" she asked.

"Can the others come?" I asked referring to the other two of the triplets.

"Sure" She gave me Oden and guided us to the office. I put Oden into the pram and sat down in the chair next to Sterling.

"So Oden seems to not respond to some sounds, he has mild- moderate sensory- neural hearing loss. He will be needed for fittings of hearing aids when he is 4 months." Dr Kale informed us.

"OK" we got up and went to the front desk to book the next appointment.

"Do you still want to go to the park?" Sterling asked buckling in Blake while I Buckled Felicity.

"Yeah we all need some fresh air" I told him hopping in the passenger seat. He drove us to the park. My phone went off Owen sent me a text.

'Can I come over when dad gets back?" I read the text.

"Hey Sterling"

"Yeah"

"Can Owen come over later?"

"Sure"

"OK" I texted back.

I assembled the pram while sterling grabbed Felicity. He gave her to me and I placed her in the right side seat. Sterling gave me Blake and I put him in the middle, then Sterling put Oden in the left side seat. I pushed the left side while Sterling pushed the right. We held hands as we walked side by side. I saw four people that looked like...

"BELLE" yep that's them, Grayson slapped his hand over his sister's mouth.

"Kaelyn there are babies present" He scold her and as if on cue Felic and Blake started to cry, surprisingly Oden didn't even stir he was out cold.

"I'm Sorry" Kaelyn apologised peeling Gray's hand off her mouth.

"It's ok" I bounced Blake soothing him, Sterling did the same with Felic. We all sat on the park bench.

"How's it been?" I asked putting Blake on my shoulder

"Alright, it's weird without having you at school." Soph said.

"How's your family?" Audrey asked. Sterling cleared his throat.

"It's okay babe, Isaac doesn't..." I lost my voice I gulped and looked down. "remember me" I whispered.

"What happened?" Sophie asked concerned about her boyfriend.

"I don't know" I sniffled and Sterling rubbed my back. We talked for an hour then we went home.

Owen was sitting on the stairs.

"How long have you been here?" I asked him and Sterling unlocked the front door.

"Two minutes maximum" we walked into the living room.

"What Happened?"

"SO this morning Dad, Liam, Em and Charlie went to work, Dad was the last to leave he told me to keep an eye on Isaac so I did. I went to the camera room and there was a furious beeping noise, Isaac's epileptic monitor sensor was going off. I rang Lane while I ran up to Isaac's room, then I rang Dr Nelson, she told me to keep calm and take him to the office when he came to. After 45 minutes he came to as confused as Connie. Lane arrived Isaac didn't remember him and then we went to the office and met up with you. I thought he would remember you like he remembered me but he didn't. Dr Nelson said the seizure fried parts of his brain. He may never remember mom or anyone properly again." I was in tears I just lost my twin brother. The Boys tried to comfort me. I pushed them away.

"I need some fresh air" I grabbed my bow and arrows. "Shadow" I called my 9 month old pup. She ran behind me. My twin might be gone forever.
