16 With Triplets

Chapter Nine: Gifts

"Do you hear voices, do you hear your mother?" Dad asked me after sitting me down "Yeah I hear all the time" I told him shrugging "Get Isaac" he told Em and she ran out. She came back with him, he wasn't happy about it.

"Isaac Harrison stop punching your sister" dad warned. Isaac sat down next to me, I leaned against him. He calmed down and the voices weren't as loud.

"Your mother warned me about this." Dad told us.

"About what?" We asked him.

"The twins in her family had gifts to say." He explained"

"What gifts?"

"Psychic and mediums. She said get will grow stronger as you will get older. She said if she were to pass before you found out you would have to go to Uncle Evan, her twin."

"Road trip"

"Let's just get through your birthday before we do anything, first"

"Agreed"

I ran upstairs and fed the triplets and then we had a smallish party and then we went home. I put the kids down to bed then hopped into my pyjamas before lying down in bed. Sterling came in and laid beside me.

"Hey" he softly greeted hopping into bed beside me. I leaned onto his shoulder and fell asleep I felt him kiss me before going into a deep sleep.

Nine months later

It's the triplets first birthday next week and everyone is super excited about it. Emma and Charlie offered to babysit tonight so that Sterling and I could have the night to ourselves.

"So what do you want to do tonight?" Sterling asked me as he drove out of Emma and Charlie's new house. I bit my lip and smiled.

"We could have dinner just the two of us having a romantic meal then we could watch a movie then have some fun in bed. What do you say?" I continued to smile at him.

"Isabelle Carter are trying to turn me on?" Sterling asked pulling into our driveway.

"Maybe" I hopped out of the van. Sterling hopped out, locked it and ran over to me. He swooped me up and took me inside before he ordered Italian Pizza and we picked a movie while we waited. The doorbell rang and Sterling went to get it.

"What are we going to watch?" He asked putting the pizza down.

"Do you want to watch 'Not another Teen Movie'?" I asked.

"Is that the one with Chris Evans?" He asked.

"Yep"

"Sure" I pressed play. We started eating the pizza.

"Can we turn this off its not the most interesting thing we could be doing" Sterling asked "Sure, what do you have in mind?" I asked playfully.

"This" he jumped on top of me and I squealed. And that was the beginning of a long a and exciting night.

The birthday party

"Happy Birthday Blake, Oden and Felicity!" People cheered as the triplets sat in their high chairs.

"We did it Sterling we survived a year as parents." I hugged him.

"Now we have to get thought 17 more" he chuckled.

After the party I cleaned up as Sterling and Lucas tried to put three hyperactive toddlers to sleep. I felt a bit nauseous but I figured it what just the cake. After the house was clean I went upstairs to help the boys but had to detour to the bathroom. After five minutes of constant vomiting I felt better. I got up brushed my teeth and went to help the two Quint boys. When I got in there Oden was passed out, while Blake was screaming at the top of his little lungs and Felicity was wide awake on Sterling's lap as he rocked in the rocking chair. I grabbed Blake and patted his back until he crashed, it felt like forever but it was only 5 minutes.

"Stop rocking her and pat her to sleep already" I snapped at Sterling. I put Blake into his cot and went to bed after saying good night to Lucas.

"Morning sunshine" Sterling kissed my lips. I quickly felt nauseous again I ran into the bathroom. I walked back into the bedroom.

"Morning" I half smiled at him. I had a sneaking suspicion about what was going on.

"What wrong?"

"Maybe just a sugar overload" I told him.

"Anyway should we wake up the kids?" he asked

"Um its only 6:30 let them sleep for 30 more minutes, plus we need time to make breakfast for the five of us."

"I thought you said you weren't feeling well." He got out of bed.

"There's still toast." I said walking out and down the stairs.

I put the toast on and Sterling was in the pantry getting the spreads.

"Momma?" a small voice asked. The toast popped giving me a fright.

"Felicity? When? How did you get here? Where are your brothers?" I asked her picking her up.

"I climb out" Felicity said proudly.

"Sterling" I went into the pantry.

"Raspberry or Strawberry?" he asked holding two jars.

"Strawberry look who joined us." I said grabbing the Strawberry jam.

"I thought you said they were going the sleep in" He put the other one back.

"She got out." I told him.

"Felic you did it" he cheered grabbing her and dancing around with her. I grabbed the toast, buttered them, put jam on them then placed the cut toast on their high chairs. I went upstairs to get the boys.

"Hey Blakey-boo are you ready to wake up yet?"

"no Momma" he rolled over. I went to Oden, I rubbed his back and he groaned, his eyes opened up. I picked him up and took him to the changing table where I kept his hearing aids. I placed them in his ears and turned them on.

"Morning Oden" I smiled at his sleepy expression.

"Morning Momma" he hugged me and then I took him downstairs and into his high-chair before getting Blake. I picked Blake up.

"Come on Blake time to wake up" he is not a morning person.

"Momma?"

"Blake?"

"I hungry"

"I made you toast" I told going downstairs. I put him into his high-chair and all was good. I grabbed a pink bottle, blue bottle and a green one and put soy milk into it.
"Strawberry, chocolate , or banana?" I asked the toddlers.
"Awberry" the boys replied.
"Nana" Felicity giggled. Sterling and Felicity are obsessed with bananas in all shapes and forms. I placed the different flavours into the bottles, heated them up and served them to the children. Ding dong.
"I'll get get it." Sterling went and answered the door.
"What do you guys want to do today?"
"Park" they all screamed.
"What do you want Lineal?" I heard Sterling's serious tone.
"I just wanted to see my favourite cuz, is that so bad?" I heard the snarky voice responded.
"I know my brothers and I are identical but seriously, Ben doesn't even live here keep traveling boy" the door slammed shut and I heard the deadlock click.
"Come on Sterling we're family" Lineal yelled through the door.
"Why don't you go stay with your sister huh?" Lineal left and Sterling punched a wall.
"Calm down honey" I hugged him.
"That son of a..."
"Language, their are children present"
"And that thing is never going anywhere near them. EVER"
