Love Illusion

Chapter 6

Melissa's POV:

I woke up smiling. I didn't know why, but I was smiling.

I got up and decided I was gonna take a shower. I took all my clothes off and jumped in the shower. I loved being in the shower and just relax. It felt good. I got out within 20 minutes. I got a little caught up in the shower I didn't even realize. I came out , wrapped a towel around me and looked In my closet picking out something to wear for the day. I decided to wear some sweatpants and a grey hoodie. I felt comfortable. I then remembered about the party Justin's friend Chaz was hosting. I took my time and picked out something to wear. After I finished that, I went downstairs to eat my breakfast. As I was munching on my cereal, I began to text Jen.

(To Jen) : "what's up? :P"

(From Jen) : "jus picking out what I should wear 2night 👌"

(To Jen) : "reminds me. come to my house l8er tonight so we could go 2gether".

(From Jen) : "it's a date! 💃 Jk jk!"

I put down my phone and started eating my cereal again. After I finished eating I went upstairs and and started scrolling through my Instagram feed. I noticed one picture that Derek posted with him and Lindsay taking a selfie together. They were still dating. But why haven't I unfollowed him already? I went on to his profile and unfollowed him. I didn't want him to remind me what we had.

I stayed on Instagram, watched comedy movies, and even practiced alittle singing and didn't even notice that it was already 6 pm.

I made sure to text Jen to come in about 30 minutes. I took the clothes I picked out earlier today and slipped them on. I then went to my make up vanity and added a thin layer of eyeliner. I then added some mascara, blush, and some lip gloss.After I was satisfied with my look I went to curl my hair. I only curled the ends of my hair.

I put on my high heels, and added some perfume finishing up my look. I checked back at my phone and saw that Jen texted:

(From Jen) : "outside your house!! come on!"

just a minute ago. I made sure I had all my stuff and left outside.

"You look hawt!" Jen said playfully when I came outside.

I rolled my eyes playfully and got into her car. We started talking about the dumbest things, and laughing around. We arrived within minutes and we hardly even noticed. I knocked on the door and Chaz opened the door. "Hey ladies", he said. He was already a little drunk. Jen smiled at him and we walked in. I was trying to spot Justin. I saw him talking to a few friends. I didn't want to bother him so I just stayed with Jen.

"Wanna take shots?", Jen asked me with a smirk. I figured a little wouldn't hurt so I agreed. We got some cups filled with beer, cheered , and drank them down in one gulp. We kept on doing that. I could feel myself getting more and more drunk, but I didn't care. I was having too much fun. We started laughing at the dumbest things, a sign that we were definitely drunk.

Justin's POV:

I took another sip of my beer. I was wondering where Melissa was. I was scanning the room and I finally noticed her talking with Jen. I kept staring at her, and we then made eye contact. She looked at me with a smile and started walking towards me, which caused me to smile back.

"Hey baby", she said putting her arms around my neck.

"You alright?", I asked. That didn't sound like something she would say. She moved in closer to my face kissing me multiple times. She was obviously drunk. I could smell her breath.

"Melissa, your drunk", I said pulling away.

"I'm fine Justin", she assured me trying to pull another move. I pulled away.

"Baby, lets get a room", she said grabbing my hands and pulling me.

"Melissa, your not fine", I said looking into her eyes.

"Come on babe", she said whispering with a smirk. I gave in and walked upstairs with her.
