Chapter 12

Melissa's POV:

Justin and i soon fell asleep together. It didn't feel weird anymore. It was 4:00 when we woke up. School was over by them. "Want me to take you home?", Justin said with a yawn. He was so cute when he was tired. "Could I stay?", I asked. He nodded with his grin. We went downstairs together to find Justin's mom, and Jaxon and Jazzy.

"Hey mom", Justin said casually. I could tell he didn't want his mom to think anything was going on.

"Hey sweetheart. Who's this?", she asked with a nice voice.

"I'm Melissa", I answered her with a welcoming voice.

"She's my girlfriend, mom", Justin added.

"Well, I figured", Pattie said with a giggle. She seemed like a nice mom. If only my "step mom" acted like her.

"Jazzy and Jaxon, meet my girlfriend", Justin hollered at them.

"Ooooo Justin she's so pretty!", jazzy said. Jaxon nodded along.

"And y'all adorable!", I said going in for a hug. Justin chuckled.

"That reminds me. Justin and Melissa, do y'all mind watching them for a couple hours? I have to run some errands", Pattie asked.

"Sure", we answered in unison.

"Ok, I'll be going", she said as she grabbed the keys. She shut the door and left. I began to sit down with Jazzy and we played with her toys. It was actually pretty fun spending time with Justin's family. They were so sweet. But I couldn't help but notice how many times my phone rang. I finally checked after the 5th consecutive time. They were from my step mom. Why was I not surprised. I picked the phone up and answered.

"Yes?", I said with an attitude.

"Come home. Now.", she commanded. I figured I'd listen to her before she gives me this long lecture that I could care less about.

"Whatever", I said and hung up.

I sighed and got off the floor.

"What's wrong?", Justin said giving me his full attention.

"I gotta go", I said as I walked toward the door.

"I'll take you", he offered.

"Take care of your siblings", I insisted.

He quickly got up and kissed me soothingly. "I'll see you tomorrow", he whispered. I smiled.

"Ewwww", Jazzy and Jaxon said. I blushed.

"Bye you guys", I said referring to Jaxon and Jazzy.

I started walking home. It was a little chilly outside which made me

hold myself.

I opened the door into my house. I found my step mom on the couch.

"You were with him, weren't you", she said, her eyes still on the TV.

"No", I lied.

"Then how come you weren't in school?", she said looking at me. She was on to me.

"Me and my friends wanted to ditch", I lied again.

"As well as Justin", she added. How did she know this stuff.

"The school reported both of y'all absent", she explained.

"I'm so disappointed in you. You will get your heart broken by him, just like the other guy", she said.

"But you don't know Justin!", I screamed as I ran upstairs. She didn't know a thing about him which really ticked me off.

"I know that he's a boy, and boys make mistakes", she said as she entered the room.

"Justin's different", I mumbled.

"No he's--".

"Why am I still living here! I want to leave!", I cried. I didn't want to see her anymore.

"Well no ones stopping you", she said as she crossed her arms. I got of my bed and took all the clothes out of my closet, stuffing my clothes into my bags.

After I finished I rushed right out of house not knowing where to go next. I decided to go to Justin's house. I started quick walking in the freezing cold.

Once I arrived I knocked on the door. He opened and looked at me with a surprised look.

"Could I stay here?", I asked a bit said.

"Of course", he answered as he hugged me.

He led me inside of the house.

"What happened", he said as we sat on the couch.

"I just wanted to leave", I answered. Justin held me in his arms.

"You'll be alright with me", he said. Justin wasn't like other guys. I just knew he was different.

"Can I go take my stuff up", I asked. Justin nodded and led me upstairs. He led me into an empty room.

"Why can't we share rooms", I asked with a chuckle.

"Because if my mom finds out that we're sleeping in the same bed together then we're screwed", he said chuckling as well.

"But we'll sneak around", he added with a smirk.

I smiled at the thought. "Thanks Justin", I said as I put my stuff down and faced him.

"It's no big deal", he said.

"No, I mean for being the only person there for me, and for keeping me safe", I corrected him.

"It's only because you mean so much to me. I love you", he said as he hugged me again.

"Your hugs make me feel safe", I said. They really did. He gripped me tighter.

"I love you too", I answered back. We kept holding each other for a couple more seconds.

Justin went to the other rooms to check on Jazzy and Jaxon while they were sleeping. He was such a good brother.

Justin's POV:

After I made sure Jaxon and Jazzy were ok, I went to go ask Melissa if she wanted anything to eat. I wanted her to feel like home.

I knocked waiting for an answer. I didn't here anything, so I just opened the door. The second I opened the door she came out of the bathroom with nothing but a bra and underwear on. She didn't notice me at all, until she looked to the side and saw me.

"JUSTIN!", she screamed in shock covering her chest. I stood biting

my lips. She had a perfect body.

"Uhh, um I was going to ask if you wanted anything to eat", I said. She blushed as she put on her robe. "I'm okay", she said softly.

"Were you trying to tease me?", I said referring to her half naked.

"Maybe", she blushed.

"Justin I'm ready", she said.

"For?", I asked unsure of what she was talking about.

"To quit being a virgin", she replied.

"What happened to "someday", I chuckled as I did quotation marks with my fingers.

"I was teasing baby", she said as she walked closer to me. I went over to lock the door shut.

"Finally", I said.
