Chapter 14

Melissa's POV:

It's been a couple months later. The school year was nearly over, and Justin and I were happier than ever. I fell deeply in love with him, even more than I did with Derek. I was still staying at his house too. It was a Sarurday.

I was still laying in bed when Justin entered.

"Good Morning, beautiful",he said as he pecked me on his lips.

"Hey sweetheart", I greeted.

"So umm, Mel", he started.

"Derek and Lindsay--", he began but was cut off by me.

"I don't wanna hear it", I said.

"Baby, they Just invited us to their end if the year party", Justin explained. He was still friends with them?

"Justin, you know I don't like them", I said sitting up increasing my tone.

Justin sighed.

"It doesn't mean you have to socialize with them. I mean Derek's actually pretty cool", he said. He was giving me headaches talking about people I hated.

"You can go, but I'm not", I replied.

"I want you to come Mel", he said getting on the bed and facing me.

I gave him a single "No".

"Whatever then", he said as he got up and left the room.

I knew I was being a bitch. But Justin knows the beef I have with them. It's like he didn't give a damn. But he probably hates me right now. He does so much for me, I mean he's letting me stay in his house. I guess I could do this for him.

I got out of my bed and walked across the hall down to his room. I knocked softly and opened his door.

I heard music coming from one side of the room. It was Justin... singing. He was amazing.

"Justin baby?", I said.

He quickly looked up and put his guitar and lyrics away.

"Why are you hiding those", I asked chuckling.

"You really wanna know?", he asked smirking.

It was good he wasn't that made at me.

"Well duh", I said as I sat down beside him with a chuckle.

"I'm making a song for you, Mel", he said.

I looked into his eyes and smiled.

"Well now you've got to sing it to me", I said giggling.

"Nope, you've just gotta hear it when I sing it to you", he said.

"I'll go with you to Derek and Lindsay's party, Justin", I said.

"You don't have to", he said.

"No I will, for you", I said looked up at him.

He kissed me on my forehead, causing me to grin.

--THE NEXT DAY--

Justin woke me up the next morning and we ate breakfast together. After that we went back up to his room to watch a couple of scary movies.

"Justin, I don't wanna watch this one", I said as I read the title "Insidious".

"It's ok, I'll keep you safe, babe", he said he started cuddling with me.

By the time it was time to get ready for the party we had already watched 7 horror movies. It was good to know he was always there for me.

I left to my room to get ready. I quickly took a shower and got out. I then picked out what to wear in my closet. I decided to wear a short,but not to short dress with some black heels. I went back to my the bathroom and tried curling my hair, but just the ends like last time. I like it that way. I then went to my makeup vanity. I added a thin layer of eyeliner and mascara.

I finished myself off with some strawberry flavored lip gloss. Once I was finally done I left out of the room. I walked downstairs to see Justin waiting for me.

"You're late", he said playfully.

I have him a fake pouty look.

"I'm kidding. You look beautiful he said as he hugged me by my waist. I smiled, and he led me out of the house, guiding me to the car as he held my hands.

We arrived within minutes. The door to the house was already wide opened with music blasting.

I gave justin an I-don't-think-we-should look and he gave me an its-gonna-be-fine-look.

I went with the flow. Once Justin saw Chaz he immediately left me hanging giving me a kiss on the cheek. I then sighted Jen and began to hang with her. We immediately started talking and had a long conversation. "Chaz and I are dating", she said blushing.

"How come you never told me!", I asked surprised.

"Because we're together all the time", she said yelling over the loud music.

"Well I'm extremely happy for you", I said.

She smiled. Just then Chaz snook up behind her and wrapped his arms around her waist.

"Hey baby", he said to Jen. I could tell he was wasted. "Got to go", Jen said as she kissed Chaz on his lips.

After they left I began to wonder where Justin was. Since he wasn't with Chaz, where else was he gonna be?

Justin's POV:

I felt someone pull me aside. It was Lindsay.

"Hey Justin", she said as she stroke my hair.

"What are you doing?", I asked backing away.

"I'm gonna tell you a secret. I like you", she said as she softly rubbed my cheek. I knew for sure she was drunk.

"Fuck off. You know I'm already dating Melissa. Your not gonna steal her boyfriend like you did to her last", I said as I took her hand off of me and walked away.

As I turned around she gripped my shirt, turning me around and layed her lips onto mine. I tried to pull away, but she had her arms around my head not letting me.

"Justin!", I heard a familiar voice yell. It was Mel's.
