Rejecting Dawn

Chapter 3

I woke up to a sudden pain in my lower abdomen which soon flowed down to my entire body. First, it felt like being constantly pricked by needles. My heart felt like it was exploding. Soon the pain came and hit me in full force and it shook every muscle in me. I moaned in pain and I feel Fury whimper in my head. It was so not helping. It was like having the worst hangover, where you're muscles are sore,you feel like you're brain's being hammered and you're all out of focus. On top of that, it was like having someone constantly screaming near you're ear.

Fury stop it. Please.. I begged her.
Tears freely flowed down my cheeks as I laid in a fatal position. I didn't even have the freedom to scream in pain since I could be discovered. I can feel the emotionally distressed state of Fury and what scared me most was our connection was slowly dimming down.

The fear of loosing my wolf made me want to hurl. Its been Fury and I as long as I could remember. Without her, I'm just me. An insecure girl who is blamed and beaten up daily. A girl who had to go through stuff that a normal eighteen year old shouldn't have gone through. I was the girl who used to crack jokes and make everyone laugh. A girl who was free. Fury was the sarcastic and bold part of me. I couldn't loose her. Please don't leave me. I kept chanting in my mind repeatedly.

After several hours, I felt the pain fade away. I was too weak to move a muscle. I laid there thinking maybe this was how I was going to die.

Stop thinking that. Dawn, you're the brave one from both of us. If you give up, I'll crumble.
A beautiful melodic was rang in my head. I cried silent happy tears.

I thought you left me.

I almost did, it was too much pain. But I came back for you. Couldn't just leave you hanging.
She replied in a guilty tone.

Thanks bud. But what the hell was that?!

It was our mate "bed boogie"ing with that pack slut Callaby.

Instead of indefinable pain, all I felt was rage. I saw red. That bastard was screwing that slut while I almost lost my wolf! I was shaking so hard with anger that I could feel my teeth chatter.

The rational part of my brain told me to get out of the hole since it wasn't too big enough to fit a wolf and the tree may blow out whilst the irrational part didn't give a damn if the world blew up. But I decided to listen to the rational part and jumped up and out of the hole.

The sun instantly blinded my eyes whilst I felt fur sprout on my hands and feet and soon I was on my fours.
Great! I ruined another outfit. And my camouflage one at that. Dammit!

I was so frustrated that I thought of sharing my misery with the Elite Glowers pack. Its show time!
