I felt like the room was spinning as I laid with my eyes closed. The constant stinging sensation from my brain wasn't making things any easier.
I slowly opened my eyes so that my eyes could adjust to the light that momentarily blinded me.
The chair beside me on my right was empty as well and so was the whole room. There was a bright light just above my head, behind the small bed were some machines and a computer. It certainly doesn't look like the torture chamber. I struggled to sit up and winced since pain shot out from my left ribcage. I had trouble breathing for a while.
My past encounter with Barbie or Coralie as the owner of the female voice had said came back slowly. The room reeked of the normal antiseptic smell you get from hospitals.
Are you feeling Okay? Fury?
Fury are you there?
The same annoying beeping noise started and got louder.
The offwhite double doors flew open as a middle aged woman with pepper salted blonde hair entered.
"Hello dear, how are you feeling. I am Deanna the pack doctor ?" She said in her gentle soothing voice.
"I can't hear my wolf! She is gone" I said panicking whilst looking at Deanna's sky blue eyes."Calm down dear, you're wolf is resting. She needs her strength. You can hear her after a week" she said as if it was no big deal.
A week! Without Fury. Can I survive?
"A week?" My voice sounded beat.
"Don't be too sad. You have company till then!" She said with a warm smile.
Who is coming? Xerxus?"Um, was the Alpha here while I was unconsious? And how long was I out for?"
"No dear the Alpha never set foot in here. You have been unconsious for five days." She said ruefully.
Then who was that? Did I dream that? I'm so silly. Why would Xerxus cry for me and worry for my safty?"
After Deanne left, in came a bunch of girls. Everyone was quiet. The atmosphere around us was awkward. I noticed the beautiful brunette in the middle. She had long wavy brown hair which was beautiful, hazel eyes that had specks of yellow, green and brown in them and a cream skin tone. The one on the right had a Darker brown that almost looked black as her hair color and had dark brown eyes. She gave off a bad ass aura. I liked her instantly. The petite brunette next to both of them was shorter and more fragile looking. She had gray eyes and looked cute and delicate. I looked at the three of them questioningly.
"Oh well I'm sorry, where are my manners" the hazel eyed brunette muttured.
"I am Hazel. I was named after my eye color." She said with a fond smile as if reliving a memory. Her lips twitched and her eyes brightened. That was the look weres have when they think about their mates. I sniffed her scent. She smelled like a mated she wolf. I can't blame her mate, she is beautiful.
