michael had everything ashton wanted, he was everything ashton needed. it was wrong though. everything was wrong, ashton couldn't like one of his employees it wasn't allowed. especially not if the boy was way younger than him. michael was 16 for fuck sake. ashton was twice as old as the young boy.ashton remembers the first day he saw the beautiful boy walk through the doors. he was so small and shy, ashton smiled at the memory. there was a knock on his door and he looked up, his eyes meeting michael's small frame, "come in." michael's feet shuffled against the floor as he walked towards ashton's desk with a hot cup of coffee in his hands. he placed the cup on ashton's desk and stood by the older boy watching ashton type away on his computer or at least he was acting like he was typing something really important but he just got somewhat nervous around the small boy.
"do you need anything else sir?" michael's small voice spoke. ashton paused his typing and turned to look at the small boy. "can you stay with me? i just need a lil company, is all." michael nodded he looked around for a chair and pulled it over next to ashton's, he plopped down on the chair and stared at ashton's fingers, he was amazed at how fast the man could type.
after an hour or so of sending out emails, ashton sat up stretched his arms over his head, popping his bones. "i'm kind of tired, wanna head out for some doughnuts?" michael nodded smiling at the offer. "c'mon then, the doughnuts are waiting." they walked out of ashton's office next to each other. ashton secretly wanted to wrap his hands around michael's small ones but he didn't know if ti would ma the smaller boy uncomfortable.
"can we get chocolate donuts?" michael's soft voice asked and ashton almost swerved of his lane because michael's voice was so fucking beautiful and he rarely heard the boy talk. ashton kept his eyes on the road and nodded. "course kitten." he whispered back. michael's face flushed re at the nickname, "thank you sir."
"michael you don't have to call me sir." ashton chuckled. maybe call me daddy, ashton thought to himself. he parked the car in front of the doughnut shop and opened his dour rushing over too michael's and opening the door for the small boy. "thank you ashton." the name felt foreign rolling off of michael's tongue but he liked it if ashton liked it.
michael loved making ashton happy. he had grown attached to the man, he was the only person michael talked to, he was also the nicest. he was also very very handsome and whoever ashton ended up marrying would be very lucky. michael frowned at his thoughts, he knew one day ashton would not be able to be be friend anymore, he would find someone special and start a family and he wouldn't have time for the small boy anymore.
"michael, you want sprinkles or no sprinkles?" ashton's voice broke michael's thoughts. the small boy nodded, smile returning to his face.
"would you like anything to drink?" the girl on the other side counter asked ashton nodded saying he wanted some chocolate milk and asked michael what he wanted. michael pointed at he apple juice and ashton smiled asking for an apple juice the girl took the both bottles an placed them over the counter along with the box doughnuts ashton took out a twenty and handed it to the girl who's name tag read 'mali'. he waited for his change and looked over at a small donation box on the side of the counter. the girl handed him the change and he grabbed his things as he began to walk away.
michael's small hand tugged on ashton's shirt and the boy pointed towards the donation box. "donate your change, f-for kids with cancer." ashton almost cried, this boy was a fucking angel he handed michael's the change and michael happily placed the money into the box. they walked away and ashton drove towards his home.
michael was confused when he saw ashton pass off their work building but he shrugged it off not caring much, he trusted ashton. maybe he did more than trust ashton maybe he liked the man maybe he loved the man. his thoughts scared him.
