"ashton quit it!" calum hissed, annoyed at his best friend for being such a creep.
calum understood that luke was very very attractive but he swore ashton took pictures of that kid 24/7. the boy probably had millions of pictures of the tall blonde lad saved on his phone.
"calum oh my god, look at this one!" ashton squealed practically shoving the phone screen into calum's face. it was a normal routine for both of them ashton talked about how perfect luke was and calum would listen to the boy rolling his eyes whenever the shorter boy made any sexual comments.
"hey ash how about instead of stalking him and being a creep you go over and say hi?" calum suggested raising an eyebrow at his friend. "no!" ashton yelled going back to taking pictures. it's not that he didn't want to talk to luke, he was just a really nervous person and he didn't want to make a fool of himself. "well stop taking pictures hes going to see you." calum groaned trying to snatch ashton's phone but the boy had a hard grip on it, "calum stop you ruined it! that was going to be like the best picture ever." calum quietly apologized not really meaning it because ashton had many more pictures of luke anyways. "it's okay." ashton chirped going back to focusing his camera on luke.
ashton pressed the camera button and his eyes widened, dropping the phone to the ground. luke and michael turned to see where the flash came from and calum hid his face into his hands. ashton just sat there frozen in place scared to look up at luke. he quickly turned to calum, about to have a panic attack, calum looked up at him an annoyed expression on his face. "cal cal can you get my pone for me please?" ashton begged scared to turn around and face luke's way. "why don't you get it?" calum snapped. "ash don't look now but luke's coming." calum warned taking his phone out and acted as if he was typing.
luke made his way towards where ashton's phone lay on the ground. he kneeled down picking the boys phone up and stared at the blurry picture of him that showed on the screen. he chuckled a bit at the picture and went up to ashton tapping the boys arm.
to say ashton was scared to turn around was an understatement. he wanted to crawl into a whole and die. he slowly turned facing a cocky luke with a smirk palstered on his face. his face felt as if it was on fire he was unbeliavably embarrased. "you dropped your phone cutie." luke winked. ashton melted at luke's words and if it was even possible he felt his face get redder and his heart felt as if it had stopped. " i - i wasn't." ashton stuttered trying to come up with an excuse "it's okay babe i don't mind having an admirer." luke smirked, ashton was at loss of words he couldn't speak. " i'll see you around curly." the blonde boy chuckled and walked off with michael.
ashton was still frozen in place not believing what had just happened a few seconds ago. "ashton c'mon we have to go to class." calum spoke breaking him from his thoughts. both boys stood up and walked to class quietly.

"oh my god niall he fucking called me a cutie can you believe that?! and calum was there and oh my god he said i could be his admirer oh my god!" niall and calum both sat on ashton's bed annoyed out of their minds because it was about the 5th time ashton told the story but that was ashton and they loved him anyways.
on the other hand luke sat at home on the couch waiting for ashton to text him. he might have secretly typed in his number in ashton's contacts. every time he heard the notification sound he would immediately open his messages refreshing the screen over and over but there would still be no new messages. he was stressing too much about a boy he barely even knew but someone liked him someone who was cute and he couldn't help but feel wanted by someone.
"alright see you two tomorrow." ashton waved at his two friends going back inside, closing the door behind him. he walked up to his room and threw himself onto his bed squealing into his pillow. he unlocked his phone and went through the pictures he took today smiling like an idiot. he went to his contacts about to call his mother to bring him pizza for dinner but his eyes widened when he noticed a new contact on his phone it read luke ;). he didn't know if it was a prank or not but he clicked on the contact and whet to messages sending luke the message.
