Luna's pov~

Aaron and I stood there for what seemed to be like forever until I heard footsteps behind us.
"Don't turn around, unless you want to be shot." A voice said. He sounded to be somewhere in his twenties and judging by how heavy his footsteps were, he was probably pretty built. I heard the click of a gun and his cocking it.
"A-Aaron?" I whisper and start to cry.
"Give me a reason, why I shouldn't kill you both." He said coldly.
"Because we have a life to live and we have so many things we want to do." Aaron answers for us.
"Do you think I should let you go for after all the wrongs you have done?" He said ominously.
"Yes. I don't recall doing anything too bad nor does Looney." Aaron says.
"State your names, and business." He ordered.
"Aaron McKenzie, best friend." Aaron sounded more irritated than scared.
"L-Luna Fry, resident." I stammer.
"Damn. I thought I was at the wrong house for a second." He murmured for a minute. "All right, Aaron, I want you to leave. Don't take a glance at me or I will shoot you. I am watching your very moves."
"Yes sir." Aaron leaves without a glance. Once I hear the door shut, I wanted to cry.
"Finally I'm alone. Time to state business." His whole tone of voice changed. "You can turn around now." He added. I turn around and wanted to scream. He had on a black cloth mask with a red stitched frown and eyes, a neon orange hoodie and jeans. He held a gun in one hand and in the other hand he held a box of bullets.
"W-who are you?!" I finally managed to choke out.
"Hoodie." He replied bluntly. He then dropped the gun. A clatter of plastic hit the ground and I realized it was a fake gun.
"That was fake?!" I started to get mad now.
"Would you rather me ise the real deal?" He pulled out a real gun this time.
"N-nope. I'm good." I put my hands up in surrender.

Hoodie's pov~

Damn it! I came with the wrong approach. She stood with her hands in surrender and a look of pure fear plastered on her face.
"You don't need to be afraid." I started.
"How can I not?"
"I'm not allowed to hurt you. In fact, I have to protect you but your friend Aaron can't know a damn thing. I have some business to talk to you about." I say bluntly and cross my arms. "In fact, if you don't trust me, I will put all my weapons on the counter. Right now I will do almost anything to talk to you about a serious manner."
"Fine. We can go downstairs and talk but there are some things you need to do." We walked downstairs stiffly. She kept looking at me every once in a while but then would look away.
"Take off all your weapons." I set my gun down, bullets, three knives and some matches for if I need to burn a house down.
"Mask off now." She commanded.
"Remember, I said almost. I'm not taking off the mask." I reply bluntly.
"Then I won't trust you." She said with slight amusement in her voice.
"I didn't say you have to trust me completely. But I do know you have to trust me enough to let me talk to you about something really important." I cross my arms out of irritation.
"Fine. Now what the hell do you want?" I then heard a car pull up. I turn to the door and heard the doorknob jiggle. I look back and Hoodie was already escaping from a window. I run and sit on the couch and turn on the TV. Mom walks in with a tired look on her face.
"Mama? Are you okay?" I ask.
"Yea. I'm just gonna go to bed Looney. Please wake me at five." She smiles tiredly. I nod and she goes upstairs. I saw 'Hoodie's' weapons were still on the counter. I don't want to touch them. I then hear a window opening and shuffling. Hoodie was back in.
"My mom is here!" I growled.
"So?" Hoodie said blankly. I bet he had a poker face under that stupid mask.
"So what are you doing here?!" I ask, slightly irritated.
"My weapons. I need to protect myself too." Hoodie shrugged and grabbed all of his stuff. He stuffed them all in his pockets with small grunts and a small yelp of pain.
"What?" I soften my voice.
"Nothing." I could tell in his voice he was in a bit of pain.
"Do you think I'm that stupid?" I put my hands on my hips.
"No. Well anyone can have their, 'blonde moments' as many refer to but I already know you are in all honors classes and will be bumped up a grade soon." Hoodie replies flatly while his arms were crossed. I was dumbfounded. How?!
"How the-?!"
"I had to do my research and you were not easy to access." I could practically hear his smirk. "I'm a lot smarter than I sound and possibly look."
"I never said you were dumb." I mutter.
"The look on your face twenty minutes ago said otherwise." It was true. I thought he was average for a male but clearly he was more than average when it came to physical strength and education.
"Okay. I admit, I thought you'd be average." I admit with shame.
"It's okay. I'm not offended or anything." His voice softened.
"I'm sorry." I couldn't help but feel sympathy for him. He wasn't going to hurt me. I could feel it.
"Promise me something." I pipe up.
"Depends." He crossed his arms with a playful tone.
"You promise you won't hurt me. Like try to kill me." I say.
"I can promise you a couple things. One, I will protect you at all costs. Two, I will not kill you. But number three isn't that pretty. I will promise you that I will do all I can, but in the end, chaos is going to swarm and you're the one who must choose fate." Hoodie said ominously. It sent shivers down my spine and goosebumps crawling up my skin. "But consider that a long time for now."
"I don't understand-!"
"Just...don't try to hurt yourself by thinking too hard. You will get your answers soon, but now is not your time."
