Luna's pov~

I got home, seeing Hoodie was up. He was in the kitchen, frowning a bit and reaching for a can of mixed fruit.
"Is there anything actually fresh in this..?" He mumbled to himself. He had his jacket tied around his waist, showing his arm that was bandaged as well as the bandages that started at his neck and went down his torso.
I clear my throat and cross my arms. He turns around and gives a smile.
"Good afternoon."
"If it were good I wouldn't have homework." I roll my eyes and flop on a chair at the table.
"I can help with it if you want." He offers and sits next to me, pulling his knee up to his chest and wrapping his arm around it.
"No, it's fine." I smile. "I can do it, I'd just rather not do it."
"Then let me do it. It'll give me something to do and it'll benefit you." He grabs the paper and skims over it, then snickers.
"What the hell? They expect me to use that formula?"
"Me Hoods. Me." I roll my eyes.
"No me. Now go bake cookies or something I dunno." He grabs my pencil and quickly began doing work...his own way.
"I'm checking that when you're done." I say and go into the kitchen, grabbing the Nutella and sitting back in my spot. Hoodie was quick, his hand scribbling equations and answers and then he would check them. Each time he was correct which was a surprise. This would've taken me hours, but for him, it was minutes. After a moment, he slid the paper over and smiled.
"Done." He said happily and leaned back a bit.
I look over it, then at him.
"How did you..?"
"I learned this in school too y'know?" He smirked and got up, wincing a bit in the process. "Anyways, I'm gonna head back to my hotel and shower and all that fun shit."
"Why? Have a date or something?" I snicker.
"Aha how funny. Who would want to date a killer anyways? Whoever would is more mentally unstable than I am." He snorts and put his boots on.
"What do you mean 'mentally unstable'?" I ask. I was curious to what he meant.
"I mean, if you saw what went through my head, you'd probably think I was a monster."
"What? Is it sexual?" I tease with a smirk.
His cheeks went a light shade of pink as he rolled his eyes. "If I was thinking of something sexual I would have gotten myself a hooker or something."
"Aww you're blushing!" I tease more.
"S-shut the hell up!" His cheeks went a darker pink as he grabbed his weapons. "Oh, I'm leaving my phone here. If BEN calls, answer it and tell them I'll be back."
I nod and say goodbye before he left.
I went up to my room, the smell of blood hitting my nose. I look on the bed, seeing the sheets were off but in the corner. I saw so much blood soaked into it that I realized his wounds must've reopened. I look in the garbage, noting that his bloody bandages were in there as well as a needle.
I sigh and take out the garbage, then put my sheets in the washer.

After about thirty minutes, Hoodie was back. He couldn't climb through the window so I let him in through the front door. We went into my room, him sitting on my bed and me in my swivel chair. His phone suddenly rang and he quickly picked it up.
"Hoodie here."
He paused for a moment.
"O-oh..! U-uh sir my plan is going well. Just a minor setback."
Another pause.
"Yes..I'm not going to fail sir. She won't die, I won't let her."
I raise an eyebrow.
"No sir you don't need to send Toby. Toby will probably just beg her for waffles."
I was confused. Who's Toby?
"Sir, I know I was hurt but I can still train her. With all do respect sir but please just trust me this one time."

He sighs in annoyance, his brown hair falling over one eye.
"Yes..I know you can end my life at any moment."
The thought horrified me. He's a human being too!
"No sir.. w-wait sir let's not make any rash decisions here..!"
Suddenly Hoodie pulled the phone away from his ear, a look of pain on his face. He put the phone back on his ear.

"Yes sir.."
He then hung up. He put on his mask and jacket, then limped to the window.
"H-Hoodie..?" I look at him.
"I have to go. I'll e back." He then climbed out the window and dropped down. I watched him leave, then closed the window. I sigh. What was that about?
