Masky's pov~

Ben and I walked to the park. He put on his disguise quickly, making him look like  a normal person, but I keep my mask on.
"Hoodie will be okay. He always makes it through." Ben muttered.
"I know, but he just worries me.." I admit. "He's like a brother to me, the only person that was with me before becoming a proxy, and I hate seeing him like this."
"I know. I probably will never understand, but I have some sort of idea of how you feel." Ben lightly touched my shoulder. I didn't push him away, I'm a bit happy that someone other than Hoods cares for me in some way.
"Hoodie is awake if ya wanna see him." The girl poked her head out. We nod and walk back inside, to see a Hoods with a grumpy look in his eyes.
"Sup Mr. Grumpy-pants?" Ben chuckled. Hoodie glared at him which made Ben shut up.
"Hoods? You okay?" I poke his...not injured shoulder.
"Just peachy.." He muttered. Well now I know to leave him alone. I nod and shut up before we say things we don't mean. The girl just sat there, talking with EJ which I don't understand.
"Luna, I think we should go now." EJ says and gets up. She nods and sighs.
"Thanks you guys..sorry about the short notice call.."
"It's no problem." BEN smiles at her and grabs both EJ and my hand.
"Bye Hoods." I say quietly.
Hoodie's expression softened as he looked at me. He gave me a soft smile.
"Bye Masky, see you later."
I felt better knowing he wasn't that mad. Soon, BEN teleported us back to the mansion. I quickly went to Slender's office to report what had happened..

Luna's pov~

I look at Hoodie and hug him tightly.
"You dumb ass. Why didn't you use a weapon?"
"I didn't really think of it. Honestly I'm sure I left them at my hotel."
I look at him and sigh, dropping my arms and getting up.
"You're staying here until you recover."
"What about your mom?"
"She's always either working or sleeping. It'll be alright as long as we're not too noisy."

I help him up, though he insisted he could do it himself. He pushed off me gently and began to limp up the stairs. He was trying hard not to make any noise.
We finally got up and into my room. I made him lay on my bed as I got extra blankets to sleep on the floor.
"I can sleep on the floor." Hoodie sat up carefully.
"No. I'm sleeping on the floor and that's final." I say as I began making the makeshift bed. Once finished, I shut off the light and laid down. I heard Hoodie's breathing. It was slow and faint, though sometimes it would quicken, then relax again.
I was beginning to fall asleep as well. I shut my eyes, soon falling asleep.

In the morning I sat up. I looked at the bed seeing Hoodie still asleep. He was on his side facing my way. I studied his face, noticing a scar on his cheek. I lightly traced it then reel my hand back. His brown hair fell in his face a bit as he shifted. I got up and covered him more with the blanket before quietly grabbing my clothes.
I grabbed a black shirt and some black ripped jeans before heading to the bathroom. I undressed and got dressed, then went back to my room. I straightened my hair, put socks and shoes on, then grabbed my bag.
I quietly exited my room and my house, then went over to Aaron's.

I boredly sat in class, the only thing I was really thinking about was Hoodie and if he was doing okay. The bell rang, signalling for lunch. Aaron and I of course raced to the line, got our food and sat down. His cousin wasn't here today for she was on vacation in New York.
"So who was that guy yesterday who saved you?" Aaron suddenly asked.
"Honestly, I've never met him before." I lied. "I don't know why that other guy tried to attack me either."
I will have to ask Hoodie when I get home.
"It's just odd that they would target you and only you. He even knew your name."
"That's the scary part." I mutter and begin to eat my food.
