ROSS POV
I walk out of the door, going to search for (Y/N) to see if she needs any help. I turn to go down the stairs and that's when a tumble causes me to jump a little. I see (Y/N) has fallen down the stairs, the box she must've been carrying has tumbled down and it's contents have spilled out onto the floor.
She looks up at me and tries to get up, she doesn't get far and her eyes slowly close.
I quickly panic, not sure what to do.
I poke my head through the door of the offices and shout, "(Y/N) has collapsed! Get help!"
I then jog down the stairs, crouching next to her.
"(Y/N)? (Y/N)? Can you hear me?" I try to wake her up. I test the pulse in her neck to make sure her heart is beating fine and it seems to be going a little faster than the normal rate.
She opens her eyes, making a low grumbling sound as she holds her head in pain.
"(Y/N), it's Ross. You're going to be fine, you seem to have fallen over and knocked your head." I clearly tell her like I was trained to when I worked in a hospital. It was mostly for emergencies when some one had fallen but that rarely happened and doctors were usually around to help them; so I never have really done it before.
People begin to pour out of the offices, Adam is on his phone and is calling 911.
"Ross?" (Y/N) croaks.
"What is it? Are you okay? Does anything seem to hurt in particular?" I spew out questions, probably worrying her more than I should've.
"My ankle... my head..." She mumbles.
"Out of ten, how would you rate your pain in your ankle? Ten being the worst." I query, looking down at her ankle that seems to be slightly swollen.
"Probably a 5." She mumbles again, her face screwing up in pain when she attempts to move.
"Don't move, stay there." I instruct her. She looks worried, scared and isn't sure what to do so I take her hand in mine. "You're going to be fine, help is on the way."
My comforting seems to calm her slightly as I massage circles on the back of her hand with my thumb.
- Teeny tiny skip -
After 10 minutes, the ambulance arrives in the car park and a couple paramedics come into the building with a stretcher.
"Move out of the way." A female paramedic demands, talking to the group of people surrounding (Y/N).
We all move out of the way, they then ask the same questions I asked (Y/N) then move her onto the stretcher.
"Is anyone coming?" The male paramedic asks, looking at us. Everyone then looks in between each other, talking about work and time tables.
"I'm going." I say, beginning to follow them.
"Ross, you have work." Tim interrupts me.
"Well I guess I'll have to miss out on work today." I look back, no one seems to argue.
"I'm coming too!" Max shouts.
"Yeah, me too!" Adam shouts after. "I have some stuff pre-recorded."
"We only have room for one person." The female paramedic scowls, frustrated with us. Well she is rude.
"Come on Max, we'll meet Ross at the hospital." Adam runs out of the building with Max close behind.
I follow the paramedics as they quickly strap her safely into the back of the ambulance.
