(CONTAINS SPOILERS OF THE BOOK 'Me Before You.')

We are woken up by Max pretty early, at 8 am to be exact.

"Get your lazy asses out of bed." He ends up dragging Ross by his arm out of the bed, I decide against being dragged and quickly jump out of bed and into the kitchen.

I choose poptarts and just end up taking the packet into the living room with me. Flicking through the many channels in an attempt to find a channel to watch with a poptart hanging out of my mouth, Ross is crawling on the floor with Max angrily standing behind him. "I swear to god Ross if you don't get up I'll kick your ass."

"Kinky," Ross smiles at his own joke, his glasses slightly slanted on his face.

I focus my attention back onto the TV and end up putting Cartoon Network on, Adventure time is just starting. This causes Ross to jump up and start screaming the into song. "ADVENTURE TIME, COME ON GRAB YOUR FRIENDS, WE'RE GOING TO VERY, DISTANT LANDS. MAX THE DOG AND ROSS THE HUMAN, THE FUN WILL NEVER END IT'S ADVENTURE TIME."

"Then who am I?" I ask, slightly sad.

"(Y/N) THE VAMPIRE QUEEN." Ross screeches.

"Fair enough."

I drive them to work, listening to 'My House' by Flo Rida and quietly singing along with the song. It's catchy, don't judge me!

I get there and the day is like no other. I take my book from the glove compartment, lock my car up, rush to the staff kitchen, grab some crisps out of the crisp draw and a couple cans of coke. I then stroll to my office, shutting the door behind me and trying to finish my book. But, today I can't seem to focus on my book, I can only seem to focus on the man in the office across the hall from me.

Ross.

When it was lunch break the other day, I snuck into Adam's office and read his time table for the day. They have 30 minute sessions each video recording, unless there is a long game that needs to be recorded, then there's an hour lunch break and other necessities.

It seems so strict, but then I learnt that the ginger man that went into the space station sometime at the beginning of this year has a five minute time table.

When Ross has a break I was able to stop focusing on him and get into my book, not even noticing him when he got back.

I finished the book.

I'm currently laying on the floor.

WHY DID THEY FINISH THE BOOK SO ABRUPTLY?

They spoke, the book ended, he is now dead?!?

Why is there a sequel if he is dead?

I'm rolling on the floor like a madwoman, my mind running around like a squirrel in a forest fire.

Whenever I finish a book, I always take around two days to get over it, I'm not sure why.

What confuses me the most, is the fact I didn't cry. I've been so invested in this book, so connected with the characters, yet I didn't cry.

As I'm in thought about the abrupt ending, I hear the door open. I turn my head slightly so I can see who it is, it's Ross.

"Are you... Okay?" A small smile is on his face as he looks down at me, slightly confused.

"I finished my book and now I'm trying to figure out reality." I twist my head back down to the floor again.

"What's your favourite colour?" Out of the blue, Ross asks.
