Chapter 4

The next morning we get up super early and we go get Jacob for our trip, I go knock on the door and Jacob answers "Hey" he says with bag's by him, "Are you ready to go? we have a long trip from her to Iowa... Like two days at least." I say laughing at how long we will be cramped in a car. "Yeah I know I'm prepared." I get some of his bags and put them in the trunk. I get in the back with Lizzie and Jacob and we are off. "You guys hungry for anything?" My mom asked us. "Um I am mom," "Yeah me too" Lizzie said. "Ok, I will stop at a gas station and you guys can get stuff to eat, and I'll get gas." Lizzie and I look at each other and smile big. I turn back to my mom "Ok sounds good." She smiles, we get to Kum & Go and Jacob, Lizzie and I go inside, "I'm going to get a soda" Jacob said pointing at the soda, "Alright, Lizzie and I will be at snacks." Jacob nods and walks away. While Lizzie and I look at snacks I realized a girl about in her 20's was staring at me, god please don't be someone like Brett wanting a "Stone" that I don't have but they think I do. The girl comes closer and I poke at Lizzie, "That girl is coming over and she has been staring at me." Lizzie looks up and sees her coming towards us *@^$ go get Jacob we need to leave now. She said looking scared " I'll buy the stuff. Go get Jacob and get to the car." I look at her scared to. "Ok I'll go." I run to Jacob and grab him heading out to the door. "Woah what is going on?" He asked confused. "There is this girl in that store looking at me like Brett was when he wanted the Stone." I said dragging him across the gas station. We get to the car and my mom looked at us weirdly. "What is going on? where is Lizzie?" Mom said getting in the car. "She is buying the stuff put we need to get out of here when she comes" I said getting in the car. "Why what happened?" "There was a girl in there staring at me then started to come towards Lizzie and I and I bet she want's the #*&%ing Stone." Mom looks at us wide eyed. "We need to leave now then." Just then we see Lizzie come towards us and get's in the car. "What took you so long?" I say looking at her. "That girl wanted a fight... Before she get up we need to leave right now." Saying that mom starts the car and we drive right off. A few hours later we get to Tennessee and we stop at a hotel and rent a room for the night. We wait in the lobby while mom get's rooms. "Ok, guys we have two rooms Lizzie and I will have one and Scarlett and Jacob will share a room. I trust you guys." I look at Jacob and he is blushing a little and I look back at mom. "Ok, we can do that." Mom smiles "Ok good we will be in a room across from you guys so if you need me I will be there ok?" I smile "Ok mom." We go to our room and when I get to mine I get on my bed. "Ugh I'm so tired, It's been a long day." I said looking at Jacob. "I know Scarlett it has been a long day." I go to the bathroom to change into Pj's while Jacob changed in the other room. We go to bed at around 10:30 but I didn't fall asleep till 11:30 or so, I couldn't fall asleep because of what happened at the gas station what if she comes back for me or she sands someone to kill me? I'm to young to die I want to get married and have kids and have a good life, not be dead at the age of 16. After thinking I finally fall asleep.
