Chapter 5

When I get up I see Jacob already up and ready to go, "Hey, when did you get up?" I asked wondering if he changed in the room while I was sleeping. "Uh for a while I didn't want to wake you up so I let you sleep in for a while long." Jacob said smiling, I smile back "Oh thanks, I needed that sleep." He looked at me while a smirk "Anytime sunshine." I can feel myself blush a little. "That's a new one." I get out of bed and head towards the bathroom door then Jacob say's something "Scarlett, I like you.." I turn around "I like you to Jacob." He laughs "No not as friends...I love you." I stand there in shock "Really? I have been liking you for a while now to I just didn't know if you felt the same way." Jacob looks at me and smiles. He starts to walk towards me and grabs me. " I'm just scared now that I told you to late because you could get kill with this powers you have." I just look at him and smile "I promise that won't happen, I can control them when I know what I have." He smiles back and hugs me. "Ok, let's get you packed up so we can go to that camp and see what powers you have." I get out of the hug and shake my head. "Yeah that sounds good. Are we going to tell my mom?" I asked worry what she would say. " I already told her... that's why she put us in the same room." I looked at him shocked. "Really she allowed that?" I asked still shocked. "Yep, Your welcome." I just stood there. "Thank you..." We get our stuff and meet my mom and Lizzie down in the lobby. "You to kids ready to go?" I looked at her funny. "What? did you tell her?" she asked Jacob with a happy face."Yep she know everything." Mom starts to jump up and down "Yay! ok let's get on the road." We get all our stuff in the car and head to Iowa.

We get there at 9:00 at night and I'm so tired I've been trying to sleep in the car but there is so much gravel in Iowa I couldn't fall asleep. (Stupid roads..) anyway we get to the camp and we meet this girl. "Hello Scarlett, we have been waiting for you, My name is Violet, I will be guiding you throughout the time you are at camp." I look and her and shake her hand. "Hi, I brought some friends with me to, this is Lizzie, and Jacob." I said "Hello i'm glad you brought friends, they will help you." I look at her funny, "What do you mean?" I asked "They will help you throughout your journey." I looked at her and smiled at Jacob. "Really?" Violet laughed "Yes really... You must be the mother, thank you for bringing her to us." She smiled at my mom and shaked her and "No problem, I want her to have safely and hurt herself." When she said that Jacob frowned and took my hand. "Don't worry Jacob nothing is going to happen to me, you will be with me the whole time." He looks up at me and gives me a small smile. "Alright Scarlett you ready to go in?" Violet asked me. "Let's do it." I turned to mom and gave her a big hug. "I'm gonna miss you mom...I love you." I said and started to cry. "I love you too, don't worry I'll be in Iowa for a while." I smiled at her "Ok, I'll see you soon." She smiled "See yeah sweety" And that is when we walked in and got started with our adventure.
