"Tsukishima?"

He grunted. I took that as A 'What?' In Tsuki language.

I hesitated at first then said, "Thanks."

"Ha?" he looked over to me and said like the dense person he was.

I swallowed, not knowing why I was feeling nervous.

"For...this, I mean."

He looked away completely expressionless. "You make it sound like we're close." He took his hand away from mine and got off the bed.

I furrowed my brows at his attitude. I at least expected him to say 'You're welcome' or I don't know, anything at all that wasn't so cold. "Why are you so heartless? Can't you appreciate my gratitude towards you?" I snapped at him then grabbed my bag, reaching for the doorknob to leave.

"Wha-" he tried to say but I cut him off.

"No, stop it. If you were gonna treat me this way, why bother acknowledge my existence at all?" Focusing all my anger on the doorknob, I gripped it harder then roughly twisted. The door opened to reveal a surprised boy who looked slightly older than Tsukishima.
Equally as surprised, I momentarily paused then blinked once, regaining my senses. "Sorry," I bowed. He seemed to sense that I was leaving so he shuffled to the side, allowing me to go out. I turned back then bowed again, "Thank you."

I didn't bother looking back at Tsukishima but I could hear him telling the older boy to shut up after asking who I was. I heard the door slam as I made my way downstairs towards the door and out his house.

"[Y/N]!"

I turned around to find Chiyoko running to keep up from behind me. I raised an eyebrow and slowed my pace, coming to a stop.

She came to a halt in front of me and panted, hands on knees. I awkwardly put a hand on her back. "Are you...okay?" I bent down and asked a little awkwardly.

"Wa-wait," she held up a hand while panting.

"...okay...?" I said perplexed.

Once she regained her breath, she stood up and and faced me with a serious look. She placed her hands on my shoulders. I raised a brow. "What?"

"Valentine's Day." Those two words of all the things she could have said.

I have always dreaded Valentine's Day.

"And what about it?"

"Who are you making chocolates for?" she asked, full of seriousness and determination to get the answer out of me. She knew I never made chocolates for anyone on Valentine's Day, so why'd she asked this time?

I didn't answer which led to her narrowing her eyes. "Tsukishima?" She wiggled her eyebrows.

I sighed. "No one."

"Kageyama? Hinata? Oh!-" she widened her eyes and smiled mischievously - "Sugawara?"

I sighed in exasperation. "No," I said, dragging the o vowel longer than should have.

"Come on, surely someone!"

"No."

Her shoulders slumped but then immediately, she perked up again. "But you have to make it for Taukishima, don't you? You're together after all," she said full of energy again.
