*BUZZ* *BUZZ*

The phone rings.

My head, it's running crazy.

I answer.

"HEY GIRL!" a voice on the other side screeches.

It must be Taylor.

"H-" I've been cut off.

"Girl!! It's yo homie Taylor!!" Says the person I'm so suddenly on the phone with.

"Oh hey Taylor! What's up?" I say ever so pleasantly.

"Ren, girl. I knew we were gonna hangout on Friday, but I also forgot that I had invited Casey over. You know my friend from Riversdale?" Says Taylor with a type of sigh in her voice.

Taylor is a forgetful person, I mean I love her to death, but let's be real here.

"Yeah, I've heard you talk about Casey a few times in the past." I say back.

"Well, would you still be up for ice skating on Friday? Even if Casey comes with? It will give you two a chance to get to know each other and stop your unusual hate for people from Riversdale." Says Taylor.

Well it can't be that bad right?

"Sure, why not. I'm always up for meeting new people!" I say back without hesitation.

"Great!" Taylor yells into the phone, which is so close to my ear that I can bearly hear out of anymore thanks to her.

"Okay, well I'll see you at school tomorrow and we will discuss plans?"

"Yes we will" says Taylor, "I know how you love to discuss plans!" She says with that attitude of hers.

"See ya later alligator!" I say with little ring in my voice.

"O-ka-doke artichoke!" She says as she disconnects the call.

--------------------

Friday.

I get home and lay my pouch of books onto my bed. My back hurts. My head hurts. School sucks. But hey, it's the weekend right?

I get Taylor onto the phone after about four tries.

"Hey girllll." I say as soon as Taylor answers.

"Hey girl heyyyyyyy." She says back with that perky-ness she seems to always have.

"So my parents said they would pick you and Casey up on our way to ice skating, around 6:45." I mutter.

"Sounds great!" Taylor says back. "Casey is already here, so we're ready once you are."

Great. I don't know if I'm ready to meet this girl. I'm not good with people from other schools. Especially since she's from Riverdale. Ugh. I can bearly say the name of that dreadful town. That's our schools rival. I'm really into sports.

"Okay! I'll call as soon as we are on our way over." I say back to Taylor; without letting her know I'm nervous to meet her friend.

--------------------

It's time to meet Taylor's so called 'good friend' Casey.

We pull into Taylor's driveway, and out comes her and Casey. Casey doesn't look happy. I mean, I wouldn't either if I lived in that dreadful town.

"Hey girl." I say as Taylor and Casey hop into my father's red minivan.

I know. I know. My father, a 49 year old man driving a red minivan. Weird right?

Taylor, happy as usual says, "Hey Ren!" Immediately as she gets in.

"Hi Casey, I'm Renesmee." I introduce myself to the shy looking girl from Riversdale.

"Hello." She says back quietly.

"Oh, she's just a little shy." Says Taylor being apologetic as possible, especially because both of my parents and sister are also in the red minivan with us.

After for what seems to be a long car ride later, we arrive at Edward's Ice Skating Rink.

Casey, Taylor and I all get the correct size skates, slip them on, and head straight for the ice!

A while later, around 9, when open skate is about to end, Taylor calls her mom to come pick us up.

We arrive back at Taylor's. Casey, still being as shy as she was when I first met her, finally speaks, "Well, I'm very tired." She says and heads towards Taylor's bedroom.

Me, pulling Taylor aside, I speak. "Taylor, I think she hates me, but I don't know why."

"Oh she's just shy. Who could ever hate you Ren, you're super nice!" Says Taylor continuing the conversation.

"I don't know about that, Taylor." I say back with fright in my eyes.

I've never had anyone hate me. Ever. I'm always so welcoming and nice towards Everyone I meet. I'm ready to take on 'Operation Make Casey Like Me'.

"Hey Case!" I say as I walk into Taylor's bedroom.

"Um, hi." She says back looking confused.

"Here's my snapchat." I say handing her my phone. "Add yourself so we can talk more!"

"Haha." She laughs.

"Okay, nice to see you guys are getting to know each other" Taylor says energetically.

This is the start of a beautiful friendship.
