Thursday.
"HEY GIRL" Taylor yells as she gets into my moms new car.
"Hey! Haha" I laugh, bearly getting my words out.
"Girls, are you ready for this concert?!" My mom asked with a very happy tone in her voice.
"Totally." Taylor and I both say.
--------------------
"Next!" The lady at the ticket stand shouts.
She's wearing denim cargo shorts, a red, blue, black, and white plaid shirt, and her hair is pulled up into a loose messy type of bun.
My mom walks closer to the lady.
"Hello." My mother speaks.
"Now how many do you have?" The lady in the booth says.
"Four." My mother says back with a smile upon her face.
"Dude, are you ready for this!!" I ask Taylor while my mom and sister are getting our tickets checked.
"OF COURSE IM READY REN!!" Taylor screeches back at me.
"Haha." I laugh. "Keep your voice down, we're in public." I say.
We enter the fair. The great smell of farm animals enters my nose. I cringe.
"Now girls, we have a few hours until the concert starts, me and your sister are going to go walk around, you can too. Meet us by the Farris Wheel at 7pm sharp!" My mother informs us.
"Of course!" I say back to my mother feeling overjoyed because both Taylor and I love the fair!
As Taylor and I walk towards the rides, I hear someone yelling my name, and also Taylor's.
"REN! TAYLOR!" A group of people start yelling.
"Oh, no." I say to Taylor.
"Oh God." She says back.
Well this will be interesting, I think to myself.
--------------------
There are lots of girls that look familiar around us, but there's just one that looks so overjoyed to see us.
Lily Oldenberg.
The girl who has been a very good listener and seems to always wants to help me.
"Hey!" Lily says.
"Hi, you are Lily, right?"
"Yep! That's me! And you are obviously Ren, wait. I can call you that right?" She says with wearyness in her eyes.
"Of course! Don't be shy." I say as I giggle.
I have just met a few of the other girls from Riversdale who were ever so nice to introduce them selves to me.
--------------------
I glance at my phone.
6:52pm.
"Taylor, what time did my mom say we have to meet her by the Farris wheel at?" I ask Taylor while interrupting a conversation between her and Holly, one of the other girls from Riversdale.
"Uh, I think she said 7pm." Taylor says, seeming unsure.
"Oh we better get going then." I said directly to Taylor.
"O-"
"I'll walk you guys over to the Ferris wheel!" Lily offers kindly, not meaning to cut Taylor off from speaking.
The whole group of girls follows along as well.
"Nice to meet you guys!" I say as Taylor and I start walking away with my mom and sister.
"Who are those girls?" My mom asks.
"Oh just some girls we met from Riversdale." I say back.
Taylor agrees.
"Okay, well they seems very nice." My mom says, shocking me.
