"Why did we just leave Mitch and Jerome?!" Jess shouted. Taylor was driving at super speed while I was holding in my barf. "We had to!, they can just climb up a tree or something!" Taylor shouted back. I felt bad for ditching them but we had too,they're more skilled and older than us they could hold up...I hope. It was midnight,Jess was asleep,I saw a rusty road sign saying Seattle was 10 miles away. Good I thought we could get this over with and me and Jess could go back to San Francisco, now that think about it, this was a very bad idea. It was 7:00 am I opened my eyes to see Jess reading a book and Taylor with his head on the wheel sleeping. We were parked in front of a run down apartment complex. "Taylor!" I yelled. He was still asleep. "Lets just leave him" Jess suggested. We both searched the building it was 4 floors so there wasan't much rooms we had to search for supplies. Then there was the last floor, all the doors had a yellow sign and chain saying CAUTION. Quarantined I thought, my aunts mushrooms were probably growing in there. There was a door open at the end of the hallway. We both walked inside the room, there was a couch,a broken T.V ,and a cracked window in front of the window was a man sitting on a chair looking over the city. "Um...excuse me sir" Jess asked. I walked closer and I was right behind the chair. The man groaned,on his arm was a star tattoo, the same tattoo Adam had.
