After YouTube Part 17: All These Years

I helped Jason get up. If he ran away that second he took my hand I swear bad things would come his way. First he bandaged his scar that he got when I pushed him down on wood chips and dirt. I watched him, he looked pretty much the same from 14 years ago. Just taller and bigger. I didn't have all day he had to speak sometime. "Hurry up!" I yelled. "Liz?" Jess and Taylor were behind me. "Who's he?" Jess asked. "I'll tell you later,just go somewhere else" I said to them. Jason looked at them, and them me. "Friends?" He asked. I nodded. "It's good to see you again." He said as he sorted out some stuff in his backpack. "It's been a long time, we haven't seen each other in like what, 14,13 years?" I glared at him "because you left me!" I yelled. He looked down at the ground, "I know I'm sorry" he said quietly. "I hope you can forgive me?" something was burning inside me. "Why would I?" I kicked up my feet, ready for a long story. "Start talking"

"I ran away because I was looking for something, something that could've saved everyone." I raised my eyebrows. "Ok...what is it?" I asked. "It was a medicine in a hospital that you were born in,it was so you couldn't get a sickness from anything dead or decomposed" "I ran away to that hospital, looking in every crack and room in that hospital for one bottle of that medicine, but nothing." I was impressed,though I didn't know if he was telling the truth. "Then I found out that rebels took it to a science lab in Nevada to experiment with it, so I went there." I found the rebels,they wanted a fight so we fought, killed half of them and another half ran away." I was even more shocked, I was scared to be sitting across the guy who fought off people that were 5 times stronger than him. "It didn't end well, I broke my arm badly,I stayed in a abandoned home for 8 months" "it was 2015 then, I found out that the rest of the rebels took it to Texas, I couldn't walk, I didn't have any food and I was weak, so I visited old friends." "I stayed with each of them for a few months or even years" I knew which friends he was talking about. "I visited people like, Jerome,Mitch,Ian,and um...Adam" "it was time for me to get back on my little mission so I visited Adam for good luck,he was sick I thought he was infected so I ran away." I looked at him, "running away is something your really good at huh?" He didn't reply. "i couldn't just leave him so I went back there after a few days." I knew what was next, "so you came back and saw us?" He nodded. "I ran away for you Liz" I wanted to protect you. "I don't care, you could've told our aunt,now she's dead." he put his hands forehead. "Well now that we talked, goodbye again, I never wanna see you."
