After YouTube Part 23: Secrets

When I woke up I expected a nice peaceful morning. Nope.

Zombies were rocking the truck left and right. Trying to break the bulletproof glass. "Hey look we got guests!" Taylor said.

"These guests got no matters, time to kick them out" Jason replied.

When all the blood and gore was done, we continued on to our peaceful morning!

"So what's our plan?!" Jess asked. "Live out in the trees?!"

Living out in the trees...

Those words echoed throughout my brain.

Mitch and Jerome...I thought about them. I hope they survived.

If not ill be totally mad at myself. I hope I run into them again in the future-if I even had a future-

"Hell no, I'm afraid of heights!" Taylor yelled.

"I have an idea" I blurted out. All 3 of them looked at me concerned.

"We can go for the medicine."

Jason looked at me, "I gave up on that!" "Well I don't care we're going for it." I said as I walked away.

I sat on the roof of the car over looking the freeway. Then I looked at my friends. Jason was wrapping up some of his scars while Jess and Taylor were fight whispering again. Jesus, what were they talking about?!

Jess stormed away from him and went down a hill towards a stream. I've had enough of this im going to Jess and talking with her.

When I was a few feet away from her, I could hear her groaning.

I hid behind a tree. Maybe I wasn't supposed to be here.

She was unwrapping a cloth that she had ever since I met Jason again...which was also the same time the secrets began. I came a bit closer.

I could now see the big gory scar that went down to bone.

"God!" She yelled.

I examined the cut more closely. I finally found out what it was from.

A Zombie.

"Jess?!" I said, I was in shock and scared. It was the most scared I've felt this whole month. She quickly looked at me. Then she quickly wrapped the scar again. "Liz I--" I cut her off "are you infected?!" I said. I could feel the tears coming down my cheek. She didn't say anything she just stared at me. "Are you?!"
