The rest of the weekend passed by rather awkwardly for you. Constantly keeping on your oversized hoodie in a weak attempt to cover the hickey, you nearly sweated to death on multiple occasions. Your parents went on with their regular business never questioning your "weird behavior". They thought it was your time of the month and you needed to be alone.

At least it was the weekend, so you didn't have to do much social interaction. Mostly staying up in your room trying to sleep off most of the welled up anger and stress proved difficult. It seriously did felt like it was your time of the month from the pain and emotional distress.

Soon enough, it was Monday. Oh how you loathed getting out of bed today. Immediately rushing to the bathroom, you were blinded by the lights. Your eyes finally adjusted, but your skin color around the hickey didn't. It was still a dark shade of red with a few purple splotches in the middle. The few teeth marks vanished at least.

"Great now what," you mumbled to yourself.

After putting some thought into it while getting dressed, you settled on a somewhat risky choice. Speed eating through breakfast while your parents got themselves ready for work, you waited until after they left to go upstairs. Sifting through your mom's makeup kit, you found her foundation.

"Dammit," you gritted your teeth as the tone didn't match yours quite as well.

Now realizing that you were wasting time, you grumbled as you messily applied the foundation. It was too dark since you put on too much, so you tried to water it down. It ended up looking like a muddy mess, but at least it was blended enough. Pulling a few strand of hair from behind your ear, you tried to conceal it even more.

"Ugh fine enough," you sighed finally grabbing your belongings to head to school.
