Sudden jolts of fear shook your spine as Tsukishima's expression grew more disgusted.
"Why are you around this tyrant king and this," he paused and smirked, "peasant."
The two boys behind you felt like they were on a raging fire.
"W-what did you just say?" Kageyama tilted his head up gritting his teeth.
"Oh uh, y-yeah! What did you say?" Hinata tried his best to copy his intimidating expression, but ended up looking constipated.
"Hang around these idiots and your IQ will lower until you're as about as dumb as a rock," Tsukishima snickered as he started walking back to the classroom. He came to a halt in his steps and stared back at you, "oh wait, you're already as dumb as a rock."
Hinata and Kageyama were about to dash after Tsukishima, but froze up as they felt your rather furious aura. You tried your best to hold back a rather strong urge to boil over into an angry rage.
"Not now," you mentally sighed to yourself.
Taking a deep inhale of air, you calmed yourself down. You wanted to retort back somehow, but the bell rang. The two strange boys ran back down the hallway only to be yelled at by a teacher.
"Ugh I should get to class also," you muttered beginning to head in the same direction they did.
Feeling a drop of nervous sweat roll down your temple, you desperately tried to block out a past memory.
The day ended with you of course, making your way over to the gym to watch volleyball practice. Your house was in easy walking distance from school, and your parents knew you were responsible enough to come home on time. You didn't know how long you could hang around before being noticed by Tsukishima.
Sitting down against a shaded wall in perfect view of the practice gym, you effortlessly worked through your homework. Tsukishima and his freckled friend soon strolled into the gym. Quickly slamming your books shut and messily cramming them into your book-bag, you leaped to your feet.
"Tsukki, that girl is watching us again," Yamaguchi whispered to his taller friend.
"She does that almost everyday," he sighed sounding frustrated.
No one could notice you being there, unless it was from the outside. Your head was slightly over the floor window of the gym. You watched every single one of them intently. Of course you weren't trying to be a creep, you were just too socially anxious to ask to watch from inside.
"E-excuse me?" a shaky voice mumbled behind you.
Feeling extremely embarrassed now, your head slumped between your shoulders. Glancing behind yourself a little, you recognized the short petite girl instantly.
"If you want to watch, you could always come inside and not be a..." she took her time deciding her words. "You could not be such a creepy presence here?"
An emotional arrow went through your self-esteem and you shakily rose to your feet.
"I-uh will go ask if you could watch from inside!" she enthusiastically exclaimed running inside.
You just wanted to melt into a puddle and wash away right then and there.
