A Teacher's Love (Under Construction)

Chapter 23

I get off the bus and take a deep breath throwing my single strap bag over my shoulder which only contained my clothes, a few things to eat, directions to my new home, and money. Which I had plenty of. My family was extremely wealthy since my father is the one who invented flat screen TVs, and my mom was a famous doctor.

It was good to be back in the country and apparently something big was to happen tonight. A huge football game if I heard correctly.

Jack hates football...but I don't see why I shouldn't go and see what the fuss is about. It's just a football game after all. Nothing ever happeneds at them besides broken bones in a few occasions.

First things first. I gotta find a place to crash, and find the high-school. I gotta register for school.
I look around a bit. Im at the four way which isn't far from the school but the closest hotel or even motel was in the next county.

I sigh and pull out my phone. I didn't wanna have to do this, but it looks as though I have to call a family friend.

Dialing the number I put it too my ear and wait for it to finish ringing.

"Well if it isn't my favorite nephew! How's it goin Dany?" He asked.

"Hey Mister man! I'm here in town...mind if i crash at your place while I attened school?" This was my Godfather. He was a sweet guy. Has known my dad since they were cubs.

"Sure thing kiddo! I got enough room for ya!"

"What do you mean? You have someone staying with you now?" I ask pacing around in a circle. He was always a hopless romantic.

"Yup! He's just purrrfect. I'm hoping to make him mine soon." I giggle at his pun and smile.

"Congrats man! Oh! Hey! I've been hearing about his football game! Since I know you follow the sport. I wanna know if you can give me the details and get me in."

"You mean you don't know? This game is the most important game of all! Every four years it's played. I'm sure I can get you in the stands."

"Wow! Thanks! Well. Im here at the intersection. I am gonna head to the school and get registered. Can you take me to your place after that?"

"Sorry hun no can do. I would take you to my place tonight, but I'm really busy today. But I know who you can stay with just for tonight ok?"

"I understand! And thank you for all your help!" I smile looking at the blue sky.

"Sure thing. I don't mind. It will be good to see you again and hang out some! Now I gotta go in the middle of Practice! Bye love you see you soon!"

I said my goodbyes and we hung up.

I continue to look up at the sky and smile giggling to myself as i shake my head.

'Crazy old man. Still happy for him.' I then look at the street signes and start walking to the school.

It was 2:45 pm when I arrived. The school had just let out. Only a few students were still outside in the parking lot for they were waiting for family. Most of them noticed me walking up and waved.

If anything the school was always friendly. It was a two story building and by the looks of it...a window on the second floor had been broken and is getting repaired as I walked to the front door and into the main office.

I saw a lioness with a name tag on the desk with the name, "Mrs. Sprite," on it. She was busy typing something up on her computer, so I walked up and spoke up with a smile.

"Excuse me!" She looks up with a smile, "I'm Dany Fang and I was hoping to register for school here."

She got up and nodded getting a few papers out on the the desk and handing them to me.
