"Where do you think you're going rainbow?!" I didn't bother to stop running, all I knew is if I did I was in for a world of pain.

"GET THAT FAGGET!" I ran through the halls of the school as fast as my legs could carry me. Kids just making a path for me as I ran for my life like it were nothing out of sorts. Which, getting chased by bullies then getting the stew beat out of me, was normal. This was my normal day in school. High school to be exact.

I tossed my bag to the ground so I could be lighter as I ran for my life. I've been asked why I don't fight back. Thing is I do fight back I'm just no good at fighting. This all started just by walking. They've never liked me so I avoid them. Turns out that's where I went wrong.

Suddenly pain surged through my body as I fell back to my butt crushing my tail in the process. I hated it when my tail got in the way. I groaned looking up to see Mr. Ferguson, my English teacher, looking down at me like I've done something wrong.

"Trash." He scoffed then dusted himself off walking away. REALLY!? You're supposed to help me! I only got up and continued running. I made a sharp turn and ran into the cafeteria where some kids were having lunch. I stopped to take a quick breath behind the door. It was quickly interrupted by the yelling of the ones who are chasing me. I grunted and started running again.

The door flew open and I ran faster saying "sorry" or "excuse me" to anyone I bumped into or messed up their lunch. I grabbed a metal garbage can and swung it behind me as I ran. It flew and hit one of the kids chasing me. A grey wolf named Logan.

I ran out the back door and to the parking lot. I took a quick look back as I ran past cars. They were far behind. I smiled and looked forward. My smile immediately faded away as two cars drove up.

"Shit!" I managed to make it over the first car by jumping over the hood. It was a dark green Ford pick-up and the other was crimson Convertible. Which sped up and made me hit the windshield cracking it badly. I rolled on the ground in pain slowly getting to my feet and stumbling away.

"Were you going rainbow?" Asked a Doberman dressed in a black skin-tight shirt and blue jeans. This was the leader of the pack. The team captain of the football team. He claims he's a homophobe but the way he dresses makes me think he wants people to notice mainly me.

"Look what you did my car you faggot!" I was suddenly on the ground and the back of my head was filled with tremendous pain. I curled into a ball holding my head.

"Leave me alone for once! What have I ever done to you?" I yelled my makings turning white meaning I was scared.

"You were born!" yelled another. I was too scared to look up so I don't know who said it. They then started kicking and punching me. I blacked out in the middle of the beating so I don't know what all they did to me.

-----------------------------------------------------

I woke up in a ditch my body unwilling to cooperate with me anymore so I just laid there.

'Where did I go wrong?' I thought to myself 'why am I like this? Why does everyone hate me?' I started to cry softly as I laid there.

After a while, I slowly rose wishing I was still lying down in the ditch and started for home. This wasn't far; knowing they throw me in the same ditch a week. This is my normal day of every day of my life.

I should have told you this earlier but my name is Jack. I'm a black furred feline with cursed markings that change color and two eyes that were two different colors, my left blue my right green. I hate how I look and I sometimes wish I wasn't me, that I looked normal like everyone else...well I guess when you're an animal there's no looking the same, but when you compare yourself to other felines like yourself. There's no denying you're different.

I soon reached my front doorstep and stood there. The light was on inside and I already knew what would happen if I opened the door. My father would grab me by the arm and throw me to the floor beating me as my mother just watched or yelled at me.

My ears fell and a light sob rose in me which I suppressed. They never loved me. No one liked me but my boyfriend which I doubt he even knows I'm alive. He hangs around that Lisa bunny all the time.

I worked my way around my house to where my window was. My room was on the second floor so I have to climb a tree to get in my room. Once in my room, I walked into my bathroom turning on the light. A tear ran down my cheek as my eyes scanned my body in the mirror.

I had a black eye on my left eye and my nose had dried blood on it. I had dried blood on my cheeks from cuts and my shirt was completely torn. It used to be green now you couldn't tell if it was black or brown or if a native worn it. I took it off and scanned my chest. Mostly burses.

I discarded the rest of my clothes and climbed into the shower. The hot water hitting my back making me hiss and whimper in pain. The pain settled soon after and I just washed, wincing at the small pains of the cuts. I sat down on the floor in the corner and looked at the water.

'Why does everyone hate me?' I cried.
